Bringing Misty with me from Texas to Paris for my wedding was, hands down, one of the best decisions I made. Before making that choice, I did my due diligence. I had trials with other well-known artists in Houston and even did a trial with a makeup artist in Paris. But after working with Misty, I knew she was the one. She completely understood my vision and made me feel confident and at ease from the very beginning. We did multiple makeup trials together to perfect the look, and that level of preparation gave me so much peace of mind. I was really nervous about trusting someone I hadn't worked with before, especially for such a big occasion abroad. Bringing Misty with me took away all that stress. I knew I was in the best hands. We had four full days of wedding events, and honestly, I don’t think I could’ve gotten through that week without her. Misty wasn’t just my makeup artist. She became my sounding board, my cheerleader, my stylist, and my calming presence in the middle of the chaos. She made sure I was eating, staying hydrated, getting quiet moments for myself, and was always one step ahead in managing stressful situations. She truly looked out for me in every way. Her work ethic is unmatched, and she’s so incredibly thoughtful and patient, even in the most hectic moments. She made me feel my absolute best, not just in how I looked, but in how I felt. Her energy, warmth, and professionalism carried me through the week, and by the end of it, Misty wasn’t just a part of my wedding team—she was (and is) a true friend. If you're a destination bride and debating whether to bring your own hair and makeup artist with you, do it. Having Misty by my side gave me comfort, confidence, and joy I didn’t even realize I needed. I can’t recommend her enough.
Misty did my makeup for my wedding and went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations. Her entire team was incredible. They are the experts in their craft. Misty is the kindest soul! Her and her team have always gone out of their way to take care of all of our glam needs! Misty has done my makeup for a few branded photo shoots and when I tell you my brows were PERFECTION…. I mean it! Not only did Misty listen to what kind of look I was going for, she also provided really good expert insight on makeup tweaks that would also work for my specific facial features. Misty and her team are the BEST in Houston! Highly recommend!
After doing a wedding day trial with Misty, I used her for HAMU at my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. All i can say is WOW- Misty and her team did such a GREAT job! Dedicated time to each of the girls, and made sure everything went perfect day of. Thank yall so much for such beautiful work! :)
