Monstera is your bookstore destination in the entire KC metro area. The vibes are high, the books are the latest with a healthy mix of classics, and the staff is so friendly. Don’t need a book? Just stop in and take in the good energy.
The most delightful store! A mixture of new & old books, plants & accessories, even LPs! Very nice staff. Bought my daughter some plants (cebu blue & philo mican) and we both bought books. We will definitely return to this warm, unique place in the heart of DTOP 😊
THE coolest bookshop! My kids and I love visiting Monstera’s. They always have a great selection, great merch, great plants, great recommendations and all around GREAT vibes! I was thrilled to visit them after they reopened and can’t wait to go back to get more Xmas gifts. Can’t recommend this gem enough.
I love Monstera’s Books. The whole shop is adorned in gorgeous green plants (also for sale) and a coordinating color scheme. They have a wide selection of new and some used books. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, so they can help you pick out items for yourself or for gifts. It’s also very simple to order books through them. I love shopping at this local bookstore—every dollar spent here supports real people in our community!
