came in for annual checkup, prescription, and concerns of dry eyes and I had the best experience! every single person I talked to was super friendly and there was thorough testing to see what was going on with my eyes. It was also super easy to make an appointment online the day of. Also, Dr. Lo was fantastic at explaining what is going on with my dry eyes and giving me great suggestions on how to overcome the issue I was experiencing. they also have a great selection of frames! 10/10 experience, so glad I chose to go to montrose eye care!
I had two people recommend Montrose Eye Care. I live well outside of Houston, but I realized that I needed a GOOD eye care facility. My original appt was due to having something that got into my eye due to working without safety glasses. Dr Lo was able to see me and removed the item and also determined that I have some other issues that have affected my eyesight for quite sometime. With the patience and thoroughness of that visit I received prescriptions and some other life changing instructions that truly have improved my sight. Further at that time Mariel did the eye testing for me - checking my vision - I HATE having things near and am always fearful, she was so patient and the equipment she used was so non-intrusive and her demeanor allowed me to relax and have truly the best experience of having my eyes tested. I came back for a follow up a follow up and got fitted for new glasses. When you buy glasses you need someone to really tell you the truth of the glasses look good on the shape of your head, Gisselle helped me try on LOTS of frames (there selection is great and prices are reasonable for what you get). Gisselle gave me recommendations for lens types and what will be best for my daily life. Most places try to upsell you on things - there was no pressure. I got my glasses and INSTANTLY there was a true difference. It literally was like being blind to seeing clearly and actually having comfortable glasses. It’s been a few weeks and they are still amazing. No headaches, clear vision, no having to remove my glasses after work because my eyes hurt. Every person I came into contact with was professional, helpful and sincere in wanting to me get the best service. I truly appreciate Dr Lo, Mariel and Gisselle and also each of the other people I came into contact with. Montrose Eye Clinic is truly a life saver and has improved my quality of life. Needless to say, I now have a new eye clinic!
