Great place to shop for cute things and support local creators at the same time. You'll find stickers, pins, postcards, keychains, and more, much of which is focused on anime/game/nerdy stuff, both fanart and original. Moonlight has friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Every time we come here, there's something new to see. New items from previous artists or new vendors entirely. It's really nice to visit a shop that focuses on local artists, especially LGBTQIA+ creators. Always love coming here.
Love this little shop. It was a huge dopamine hit the second I walked in. I was actually picking up a sweater that I got from a local maker, and had never been in this store. I'm also from out of town. I would never have stumbled across the store if I wasn't picking up the sweater! I spent a good time in there looking at everything and really enjoyed the store. It's nice to see that it's busy and quite loved by the local community! I wish I took more pictures! They did have the sunscreen that I love and is really hard to find in Canada!
An incredibly cute store thats filled with amazing products from local artists. If you love anime culture, you find some VERY unique items here. From stickers, Keychain, posters, magnets, shirts, bath soap, health and beauty care, this store is stocked with amazing products that will keep you looking. The store is a bit tight but its very easy to navigate through. The employees are super nice and very welcoming and very helpful! Would highly recommend visiting this place. You may find something that fits your needs or your office.
Finally got a chance to go here and it did not disappoint! A dream shop for anyone who likes all things cutesy, artsy, anime and kpop, all while supporting local artists! The store is well decorated with a vast curation of items ranging from decor, jewelry, stationary, keychains, pins, clothes, accessories, prints and more. Buyer beware: it's a tough feat to leave without making a tiny dent in your wallet oops hehe 🤭
Visited this place twice and the place is definitely cute! There's a lot of items you can shop for so you have a lot of choices. Its also a big enough space to hold a lot of different items. The second time I visited, I decided to get one of their "Mystery Gift Bags". I got the big one that is worth $15.50. I opted for that because each bag claims to come with 6 items from Moonlight (+ more). I get the appeal with these because they're fun to get and I am an avid fan of markets so I would buy these from time to time. I understand that these are meant to be surprises, but what I received was far from a pleasant surprise. I also understand they need to include items that justify the $15.50 price point, but I believe they could have chosen much better items for these gift bags. I'm still uncertain about the items I received in the "Mystery Gift Bag," but I do appreciate the fuzzy socks—they're the only thing I can actually use. The rest of the items seem like knick-knacks to me, especially considering they have a lot of choices in the store. While I understand the store can't control the quality of each item, I believe offering more curated and thoughtful mystery bags would be a great improvement. List of items I got: 1. Fuzzy socks ($10) 2. Finger trap (No price sticker) 3. Toy finger skateboard (No price sticker) 4. 2 x pink hair clips (No price sticker) 5. Troll figurine (No price sticker) 6. Squishy ($2) 7. D3 random animal erasers ($2.50) 8. And some small stickers Nevertheless, I understand that these 'Mystery Gift Bags' cater to a wide audience and may not suit everyone's preferences. However, I wanted to share this review to contribute to the store's improvement. I will continue to visit this store, though I might refrain from purchasing the 'Mystery Gift Bags' in the future. Support local business!
