I’ve had such a great experience here! Stephanie does my Botox and laser treatments and she’s seriously the best. She’s so knowledgeable, always takes the time to explain everything, and I always feel really comfortable and confident with her. My results are consistently great and very natural! I also had a facial with Sydney and it was amazing. Super relaxing but also really effective. I left with a great glow. The studio itself is really clean, welcoming! Highly recommend!!
I went to Mosaic Skin in Oakland for a HydraFacial and had such a great experience. There’s plenty of parking in the back, and the whole environment feels calm and welcoming. Sydney was gentle, knowledgeable, and so kind throughout the entire treatment. As a woman of color with textured skin, I’m always careful with facials, but they really understand how to take good care of your skin here. The HydraFacial was gentle, hydrating, and didn’t use any heat or harsh friction, so I didn’t have to worry about irritation or dark marks. I left with my skin feeling clean, bright, and glowing. Highly recommend if you want real results with a team that truly knows how to care for skin of color.
The staff is very welcoming and kind. Annie S did my microneedling and aerolase laser, and she explained the procedure very well before we started so I felt totally comfortable. There wasn’t too much discomfort and I’ve noticed an improvement in skin redness and texture. Definitely recommend Mosaic skin studio to anyone looking for a skin treatment in the Bay Area!
Not sure where to start because this place hits all the marks for a med spa. Steph (founder of Mosaic) has been keeping me looking fresh for years. Her indetectable injectables are truly remarkable and you will never come out with a botox glow or frozen face. I was very excited to visit her new storefront in Oakland. Atmosphere: Absolutely beautiful inside. It isn't a sterile environment with sad, millenial gray and doesn't give off Stepford wife vibes. You feel like you are at a rich, warm, desert retreat with foliage blended in. A lot of thought was put into the design of this place and it truly shows - the tunes they play are great too and there is a nice coffee/tea/water bar for before/after treatment. The rooms are nice and relaxing and the sheets on the beds make you want to sleep for days. Staff: Front desk staff - lovely, professional, friendly, helpful. Coming to a med spa can feel daunting, but the front desk staff are so welcoming, and it is much appreciated. Services: the most important part! Steph - for your injectables, she is the OG. She has been doing this for many years and came from a clinical background. I trust no one else with my face - you can't tell I tox my 11s because of her excellent work, and she also made a significant crease in my forehead disappear as a result of her work and recommendations. Subtlety of botox is key to a natural look and an indication of the mastery of the injector. Steph nails this in both categories. Now, for facials...SUMMER IS YOUR GIRL. I do not love facials, but Summer made me a believer. As a clinician, I appreciate when I am walked through treatment steps, and she delivered. She explained the purpose of each product and even went into the science of how it improves your skin. I also appreciated how thorough she was with her routine. She also walked me through how to layer my skincare routine at home as well :) One of the biggest things that stood out was that she was not pushy with products (most facials I have had in the past do this, which is probably why I do not like them)....but, Summer did not do this. She focused on treating my skin and asked if I wanted recommendations, what my main concerns with my skin were, and I will be taking her recommendations, 100%. I have now found an esthetician that I can trust, and that statement is not made lightly. And, I left with a coveted glow on my skin that lasted for days. Thank you! Can't wait to come back again for treatments. Coming to Mosaic is such a nice escape and a fantastic way to help you look and feel good. I cannot tell you how many friends I have recommended to Mosaic, and I will continue to do so because it sets the bar for stellar service and beautiful results. I also love the clinical grade products they sell that actually work (ahem, Skinceuticals!) Thank you, Steph and Summer.
I had my first lash lift session with Summer a couple days ago and had such a great experience! My lashes came out so pretty and gave me a natural extra glow that I didn't even realized I needed. What truly made the session great was my interaction with Summer. She was so welcoming and listened in great detail and answered all my questions before we started. She also explained the steps as she was working her magic which was really helpful in calming my nerves. I would 100% recommend Summer and can't wait to see her for other treatments!
