10/10 recommend. Food was good, they services was good. They would come around often to check on the table, even with the place being busy. The wait time to sit at the Hibachi table was longer than expected had to sit at a regular table but was still able to see the hibachi. Would recommend making reservations before going.
The worst dining experience of my life - 0/10 wouldn’t even send my worst enemy here. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in my life, but never have I experienced a level of incompetence, rudeness, and outright hostility like I did at Mr. Hibachi. Where do I even begin? First, let’s talk about the hostile reception. I walked in, sat down, and it was as if I had personally offended the server by merely existing at the table. There were already two parties seated and drinking, but it seemed my very presence was inconvenient to her. Fast forward to when I tried to order an appetizer. I politely asked, and her response? “I asked about your entree.” Excuse me? I didn’t even blink. I just ordered my food and tried to move on, but the attitude was already thick in the air. The situation got even more fun when a gentleman at the table, who must’ve thought the server was talking to him, politely said, “Pardon me?” Her response? “I wasn’t talking to you.” I’ve never seen someone act so offended by basic human decency. After our food was ordered, this server disappeared and never came back. We sat there for a while as other staff passed us by, but she couldn’t even spare us the grace of a simple check-in. I finally had to ask a DIFFERENT SERVER to get her, just so I could get a box and my bill, at this point, I was begging to get the heck out of there. But oh, it gets better. When I asked for containers for the sauces (because, you know, that’s a reasonable request) she ignored me and walked off. When she finally returned, she slammed the sauce containers down with the with this unnecessary force. I went to the host stand and asked to speak with a manager about her appalling behavior, the manager showed up, barely acknowledged my complaints, and his response? “You don’t have to pay the bill.” He didn’t apologize. He didn’t ask how he could make it right. He didn’t care. It more so felt like he just wanted me gone. But wait there’s more! When I went to sit back down, the server came back to the table and said, “You can pay your bill now.” With the same attitude. I told her the manager said don’t worry about the bill. Her reply? “That’s the problem with YOU PEOPLE.” (as I am a person of color). Yes she went there. She actually said that. And the manager did absolutely nothing about it. I’ve never been so humiliated and disgusted in my life. Mr. Hibachi is a den of disrespect, where racism and rudeness seem to be the special of the day. For the love of your sanity and dignity, avoid this restaurant at all costs. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear. You’ll get better service at a drive-thru. If you still decide to go avoid this server at all cost.
The Perfect Day Out! Phenomenal Food and Service at Mr. Hibachi Grill What an absolutely fantastic day we had at Mr. Hibachi Grill! We went to celebrate my cousin’s 18th Birthday 🎂 Everything about this establishment exceeded my family’s expectations. For our large party, the service was impeccable: the staff was attentive, efficient, and genuinely polite, ensuring everyone's needs were met quickly and with a smile. The restaurant itself is immaculate and well-managed. Now for the main event: the food was out-of-this-world amazing! Fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. Our Hibachi grill master was the star of the show—he was incredibly entertaining and mesmerizing, turning dinner into a memorable performance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This is a must-visit spot. Highest possible recommendation—I only wish I could patronize more locations closer to home!
First time trying this place! I was craving sushi. I ordered two Dynamite Rolls, a drink and a side salad with sesame dressing. The food was good but the service was horrible. Everyone seemed uninterested to service me, I had to call on two different waiters to get help. It was a very poor experience. It was nice that I came during happy hour because the food and service were worth the discounted price. The only person who was genuinely friendly was the bartender and she had cool green hair! I didn’t get her name, but she was nice.
I have to revise my review. We went this past weekend to celebrate birthdays. Was not our first visit and other times had been good. However, not this past Sunday. We got in at noon, sat at the first table to the right as you go in the door. The cook was just plain annoying. I understand they put on a show but repeatedly banging and banging the utensils together in our faces while we were trying to visit was uncalled for. The food was extremely greasy, and the rice tasted off. Two in our party got very ill after dinner, both had chicken. The shrimp were very over cooked to the point of being tough and dry. Then he finishes and we are starting to eat and the waitress brings us the carryout boxes before we had even hardly started to eat. So we had to figure out where to put those while we tried to eat. Then, we had planned to maybe get desert but she never asked us, just brought the bill and waited for payment. The place was not busy, there were alot of empty tables. We had a reservation so not just walk in. If not for past good experience we would probably not return. Not sure if the chicken was bad or not cooked properly but the ones who ate it were ill. For the price of the meal this was not a good experience.
