They have an amazing collection of rare books available! Janet was incredibly friendly and helpful too, she even allowed me to stay past their closing time because I wasn't done browsing around. Totally worth the long trip to come here and I would definitely recommend anyone to visit!
went here yesterday, the staff are lovely and the store is just beautiful. so many books, can be pretty pricey though since these look to be original copies. hoping to come back someday!
This is a quite bookstore owned by a family for 2 generations. They have the first prints/ old versions of different genre of books. The owner is very kind and I loved chatting with her as she described the legacy this quaint place carried. Tucked away in a small corner of the city, Muir books are a must visit for any book lover.
What a place of splendour and dreaming. The collection would envy that of a Victorian Scholar. A true place of adventure and versatility. Where you can let your imagination run wild, on a quaint piece of land in Northbridge away from the beaten trail. There are many vintage rare books and also some second hand newer books for your pleasure, I’m honoured to have found it while in a walk and will surely return. Thank you Muir.
