From the first day I met Eric I’ve been excited about learning to play guitar. He put me at ease. He’s also very positive/encouraging. He loves music and helping his students. I look forward to many years spent with my new friend. He also speaks 4 or 5 languages!! Don’t wait to start playing.
Erick Kahn is an excellent guitar teacher. He's incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I've been going for 6 months now and my skills have gotten so much better than when I started. There is just something about in person lessons that can't be recreated using online materials.
I’m 70 and started learning to play guitar 10 months ago. I took lessons for 5 months at another location and just did not make any progress. I started taking lessons with Erick 3 months ago and while I am still a fledgling wanna be guitar player, I feel my progress has increased 4 times more and at a faster pace than the previous location. Erick’s methods have helped me advance and his patience and character has reignited the enthusiasm that almost faded due to the frustration I had before because of the lack of progress. I don’t expect to shred in the next couple of months or even in the next year but, there is no doubt the lesson plan Erick has laid out for me will have me playing well and with confidence.
I've been taking lessons with Erick for a while now and I cannot state enough how much knowledge and technique he has shared with me, I came to Erick almost as a complete beginner with some self taught knowledge. Since learning from Erick I have been able to gain confidence with the guitar and techniques and chords. Highly recommend Erick to any guitarist who wants to push themselves and learn in a friendly, welcoming environment! Erick is patient but firm, and he has a plan for teaching but is fine with taking songs and things you want to learn and turns them into fun and inspiring lessons.
My daughter started learning to play the ukulele she received for Christmas. She started learning by herself off YouTube, but there is just no comparison to what a good instructor can teach. Eric is a wonderful instructor. He has taught her so much, and she is improving with every visit. I am amazed at how much she has learned from her sessions. Eric invests in his students and makes the classes enjoyable. We love to hear her practice at home, and she likes to show off for her friends at school. I'm glad we found a great teacher!
