I was referred to Maisy by my neurologist to help manage my vestibular migraine, which was causing me severe dizziness, balance issues, and vertigo. At my very first appointment, Maisy conducted a thorough assessment to really understand my needs. After that evaluation, she put together a personalized exercise program that turned out to be incredibly helpful over time. It helped me manage my symptoms more effectively. Honestly, I thought my life was over – vestibular migraine is sooo disabling. I can’t work or even socialize. Maisy really helped me regain my balance and confidence. I have been treated for vertigo by Maisy and would highly recommend her services. She provides a thorough and conscientious evaluation prior to determining the needs of her patient. She communicates well and keeps in touch to make sure that there are no problems.
I was referred by a friend to Maisy who specializes in vestibular disorders since I was experiencing vertigo when getting up and down from bed or sitting which didn’t go away after 3 weeks. Maisy performed thorough and comprehensive testing to determine the cause of my condition and prescribe the appropriate treatment. Fortunately, because the type of vertigo I had was relatively common and easily treatable, she was able to eliminate my symptoms after only one session. Of course, results may vary depending on your condition but I was lucky mine was quite basic. Prior to seeing Maisy, the only thing my GP did was prescribe me medication to alleviate my vertigo symptoms but not directly treat it, hoping it would resolve on its own. I’m pleased Maisy was able to treat my vertigo with great care and compassion. I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing chronic vertigo or dizziness.
Maisy is incredibly knowledgeable about vestibular issues. She has now assessed and treated me twice (first in 2019, and again in 2025) and I could not recommend her enough! Her assessments are very thorough and the treatment plans are effective and easy to follow. I appreciate her passion and skill for helping her patients, and I would urge anyone struggling with dizziness/vertigo to see Maisy at Myah physiotherapy.
After a year of problems, I could not recommend Maisy any more highly. Here equipment is high tech and next level. I had been ignored and shrugged off by other physios and when she finally found the problem (including the exact ear canal that was causing the issue) it was so validating. She sends all of her exercises in an easy-to-use app so that you can remember them easily AND she sends check in emails. Maisy really cares and is so professional. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you!!
