Pretty average service. The price quoted on the website wasn’t the final price, there were extra charges added. When I asked why, the answer was “I’m not sure.” So what’s the point of having an online quote? On top of that, the mechanic didn’t know how to clear the “Oil change due” message display and told me to go to Mazda to get it fixed. What’s the point of servicing the car here then? Mazda quoted $1033, MyCar quoted $1048.79, and I ended up paying $1088.79 and was still told to go to Mazda. Ironically, I later found out (thanks to AI) how to reset it myself, without needing Mazda at all.
Great service and very good value from My Car East Perth. They offered me some excellent options when I needed new tyres and the pricing was really competitive. The team were straightforward, helpful, and didn’t try to upsell unnecessarily. I meant to write this review a few weeks ago but just wanted to say thanks for the solid service — would happily recommend.
Awful experience with this branch. I took my car for an “Essential Plus Service,” which supposedly included several additional checks. From the start, the receptionist showed no willingness to help. Instead, she seemed annoyed when I asked for explanations about the service. I’m a foreigner, and her attitude made me feel discriminated against. Since I wasn’t getting the information I needed, I tried speaking directly with the mechanics, but the treatment was the same. I asked why a competitor was offering the same service for half the price (I suspected quality differences), and instead of giving me a proper explanation, they were sarcastic and laughed at me, saying “take it to them then.” I genuinely wanted to understand why their service was supposedly worth the extra money. I left the car in the morning and they told me it was “ready” in the afternoon. Honestly, I don’t think they did anything beyond topping up the oil. They didn’t even reset the computer, which is basic for any service. They also claimed they had done a wheel rotation, but a month later I took the car to Bridgestone and they confirmed no wheel rotation had been done for at least a year. It’s very likely that none of the promised checks were actually performed. I feel completely scammed and would not recommend anyone take their car to Mycar, especially when there are other companies that deliver a truly professional service.
Terrible, absolute crooks. Charged for work not done then tried to slug me a thousand dollars more. Took car in for air conditioner work. They charged $1400 to replace air conditioner fan. When problems persisted they then said the whole air conditioning unit would have to be replaced, costing $5000 more. Took it for a second opinion and we discovered the fan had not been replaced at all. Mycar admitted they had not done the work they had charged us for, then claimed it wasn't their fault because a subcontractor did it. Glad i didn't trust them and went somewhere else. Had been a long time customer but never again.
Very recommended. Excellent service from the guy with a red hair (sorry I didn't know ur name). I went to fix my taillight indicator. Apparently it was just a clog he fixed it in seconds and he didn’t charge me for that. Thanks for making my day ❤️ I will be come back next time :)
