Scathing review incoming Really disappointed that after having x1 set of bad kitchen fitters, Nick took this job on only to abandon it and demand payment. A lot of the issues stem from Nick and his joiner Martin not communicating with the task at hand. I explained all the jobs and fixes required to Nick when he came over, sent him photos and a bullet point list. When Martin turned up, he didn’t know what was required of him. He fixed a couple of end panels in the kitchen on day 1 and glued a panel that subsequently fell off. He then told me to do the rest myself. On day 2, he said the floorboards would require more work to patch up and repair. He put down plywood but didn’t repair the floorboards. He was unaware that work was required in the utility room but had no issue suggesting an unstable worktop be installed. He decided not to come back to complete the job, maybe it was more complex and involved than originally thought but I was upfront about it & Nick/Martin should not have taken it on if they are not capable. They did demand I pay them in full although the jobs were incomplete. Seems like people are out to make a quick buck and are not willing to EARN an income. I paid them (minus £100 for the threatening messages)
I had a really positive experience with NJ Home Solutions and would happily recommend them. Stefan did a great job decorating my small bathroom, the workmanship was of a very high standard, carried out with real care and attention to detail, and the finished result has completely lifted the space.Nick was extremely patient and thoughtful when it came to hanging a very heavy, ornate mirror. One wall couldn’t be used due to old-fashioned plasterboard, and he made every practical effort to find a safe and workable solution. In the end, we agreed the best option was to use it as a leaning mirror, which works beautifully. He also kindly sorted the sealant around my sink, which had been left in a poor state by a previous worker. Stefan and Nick were professional, punctual, tidy and courteous. Despite being a very busy time of year they did their best to fit the work in and get the job done for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or contact them again - Many thanks Eleanor (Mount Florida)
Nick did an excellent job! He was thorough, communicative and went above and beyond to clean and tidy after he had completed the job. Great customer service. Highly recommend and would absolutely use his services again in the future.
NJ Home Solutions did a great job. The quality of their work is excellent. They repaired water damaged plaster and skirting board trims before painting the ceilings, walls and skirting boards. On arrival they removed furniture and curtains before covering all surfaces and floors. They arrived on time and worked with very few breaks. They cleaned everything before leaving and put back the furniture and curtains. Nicholas, the boss, has an eye for detail. He found a couple of snags and fixed them before asking for final payment. They did a thoroughly professional job and I will use them again for my kitchen.
Highly recommend - Nick was excellent and so friendly! Came within a few days to mount some large and quite awkward items on our walls. He checked with myself exactly how we wanted them first before completing the job quickly, whilst ensuring everything was done perfectly. Will definitely be using him again - Thanks again Nick!
