Got the tip from Hal Anderson that Rui was the best tech guy in town. I’d been putting off a hard drive upgrade but finally pulled the pin. Rui was very good with what he could and could not do and any problems that may incur. His quoted price was right on and delivered back on time. I only had to install a few programs that he was not able to reinstall. My iMac is now better than ever with a 2TB SSD and workflow is up an going great. Thank you Rui for getting me back on track. Do the right thing and support local!
Had a great experience with Nothing But Tech. I brought in my gaming laptop as the HDMI port had stopped working + GPU was no longer being detected. Right from the start, Rui was helpful. He explained what the issue might be and gave me an idea of the repair cost versus whether it would even be cost effective to fix, depending on the issue (especially considering the current market for graphics cards). His team quickly diagnosed the problem as faulty VRAM chips and had everything repaired and ready within just two days, which was impressive given it’s a week before Christmas and they are clearly busy. I’m extremely happy with the service and professionalism. My gaming laptop is running like brand new again (even better, honestly). Will definitely return for any other tech services!
I am 70 years old and just using laptop for email and etc. I switched internet provider and after that, I can not get internet just for my laptop. I have no problem connecting WiFi to my cell phone and tablet. My tablet is so slow, relying to my laptop which I bought in 2018. You know, it is just frustrating. Even my son ca not connect WiFi to my laptop. So, I reached computer repair shop. Nothing But Tech received very good reviews. And to my experienced with them, I recommend this computer repair shop. Tech man,who looked into my laptop and found the problem or issue why I can not connect WiFi which is not updated. So, he updated my laptop. And guess what! It is now connected and working smoothly again. Tech man did not even charged me for his service. And said "Thank you". For computer repair, Nothing But Tech is the place.
I had a high end ASUS gaming motherboard that was bricked during a bios update. I had sent it to ASUS for repair and the price they wanted to charge me for the repair was almost the retail price I paid for it as the warranty had lapsed a month earlier. The board was sent back to me. NBT was recommended to me from another shop. Not only did they fix the board, but it was done and ready the next day at a fraction of the cost. A great experience and I definitely recommend. Thanks again.
