I have been dealing with Off-Whyte for over a month since my car got hit. They gave me a reasonable quote, and I dropped my car off a few days later to get fixed. When I picked it up however, the scratches were still very visible and my car still had a dent in it. I asked them to fix it again as the work was not done properly the first time, and they told me to bring it in the next week. I came in to drop off my car at the agreed upon time and when I got there they told me the worker wouldn't be in that day but to call to see when he would be in next. I called multiple times over multiple weeks and never heard back from them. Eventually, my partner called and they told him to bring my car in this week (note that this is 4+ weeks after the initial meeting with them). I dropped my car off yesterday as agreed upon. I called at around 2pm to check in on the progress of my car and they told me it would be done by the end of the day. Today, I go to pick up my car and they told me that the worker never came in yesterday due to family health issues. While I understand that this is outside of their control, the complete lack of communication is within their control. At this point we are at over a month of me trying to call and sort this out. I would not recommend this place for any body work as the worker is clearly not reliable and they don't have anyone else on staff who can do the work.
Honest people who aren't trying to scam! Had my regular scheduled check up at my car dealership who told me I had to replace the high mount rear brake light. Didn't like their quote, so went to these guys, who found immediately the issue was just a disconnected wire. In and out in ten min, cost nothing apart from a bit of my pride and some embarrassment on my end :)
I moved central and was looking for a mechanic somewhat close to my home, a friend of mine told me about his experience at OW. He brought his vehicle in and asked them to change the power steering line, they let him know it was a common problem with his model and that only the seal needed to be fixed. They also gave him advice on how to avoid having the problem again. Walked out spending only 50$ when they could have just taken the work. After that recommendation I started bringing my vehicle over there and always had a good experience. My recent fix was a bit bigger. I had a mechanic give me a quote on replacing my struts. Off-Whyte gave me a price that was substantially less to get both control arms + the struts replaced. They took multiple test drives, let me know roughly how much life I had left in my wheel bearings, and also made an additional repair at their own expense (shop covered the cost of the parts and labor) because they had promised to get the issue fixed and they didn't catch that issue for the initial quote. They came in exactly as quoted, did a great job, and I got a great deal. Would highly recommend them, they are professional and honest, I am glad my buddy told me to try them out!
I’ve been bringing my car here for everything from regular inspections to winterizing and repairs, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Every time, the work is done on time, professionally, and with great attention to detail. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to explain what’s needed without any pressure. One of the things I appreciate most is how fair and competitive their pricing is — I always feel like I’m getting excellent value for the quality of work. It’s rare to find a place that combines reliability, honesty, and great service like this. Highly recommended!
I never gave the gentleman who sold me my car a review and he was a true gem. He worked with me to allow me to afford it and it was on my birthday almost 3 years ago. I take this car with me everywhere I go and it only has ever needed small maintenance. Thanks again Fares 🥂
