My kids have had the privilege to have Coach Reyes and Coach Aaron for 2 years , and I can confidently say they’re one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. Their expertise in wrestling is unmatched, and they have an incredible ability to break down complex techniques into simple, understandable steps. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about each athlete’s growth, both in and out of the ring. Their encouragement and tough-love approach have pushed them to exceed their limits and improve skills in ways I never thought possible. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced wrestler, you’ll walk away from their coaching sessions stronger, more confident, and ready for anything. Highly recommend!”
Ohana Academy is the best gym I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve been practicing martial arts for many years and have been a part of many gyms between Austin and San Antonio. None of them have compared to not only the skill and techniques taught, but also the family-like atmosphere. As a woman, I’ve struggled to find a martial arts gym that’s inclusive and welcoming to females. The moment I walked into Ohana, that all changed. I’ve gained life long friendships and I’m surrounded by a huge group of women that love and support each other.. and kick ass 💪🏻 Great instructors and great professors that teach and challenge me in every class, both physically and mentally. 12/10 would recommend!
We love Ohana! Our son has been doing jujitsu since 2021 at 8 years old & started wrestling shortly after starting Jiujitsu. He has learned so much more than just martial arts. The coaches are so patient with these boys and girls, taking time to teach them each move thoroughly. In addition our son has made so made great friends while training. He loves it so much & plans to continue training into adulthood.
Ohana HQ has been such a great place for our family! Both of my boys have trained here before, and they’re excited to be coming back. Coach Rob has worked with both of them, and he’s been awesome patient, encouraging, and great at pushing them to improve. Gabe at the front desk is always super helpful and attentive. And of course, the Lollipop King is a favorite my boys always look forward to that little treat after class! One of the things I love most is that I can workout on the machines while the boys are on the mat, which makes it so convenient. The atmosphere is welcoming, the instruction is top-notch, and it really feels like a family. Plus, the holiday events are so much fun! They always go the extra mile to make it special for the kids.
Such a great place for any age. All the staff members are always smiling and are super helpful and careful with the kiddos. This is my sons 1st month and he loves it. He's 4 Every coach here is so awesome at there craft. It's so cool to actually watch your child grow and grasp the concept of what they are teaching right in front if your eyes.🤯 This place makes you forget about all the crazy stuff during the day. As soon as you walk in you can feel the comrodery in the air and just a feeling of happiness from everyone😃 Ask for Jason when you go in or call. I would give 10stars if possible!! Oh yeah another plus most all coaches are bilingual 😃 Were so glad to be part of the Ohana Family 🤙👊
