I came back from South Korea on the 20th for vacation, slept, and went to work that was out of town, and came back last night (Nov 24, 2025) and HAD to get myself Korean barbecue to fill in the void of not being in Korea 🇰🇷 The food was amazing. It reminded me EXACTLY of what would be served back in Uijeongbu, South Korea with requested lettuce and sliced garlic 🧄 My server, Sida (I’m sorry if I misspelled the name), was AMAZING. She was so attentive, had a wonderful, positive energy, and made me feel at home. I could see her and I being great friends 🩷 Another thing that caught my eye on the drink menu was that they served soju towers; that’s what I would call it when I was still working in South Korea years ago. I didn’t order it, but it was good to know in case I would like to come here for a future celebration. Heck, I’ll still come here for a celebration even if I didn’t order it lol MAD LOVE for this restaurant ❤️
If I could rate a zero I absolutely would. Half of the menu isn’t safe to eat if you have a shellfish allergy which I have. The fried items are all fried in the same grease as the shrimp tempura. I’ve tried this place only once before and the banchan to my knowledge was shellfish free they asked the lady that makes it and she said it was safe to eat. Typically cucumber kimchi isn’t made with shrimp paste but I always ask to be safe. But the server today informed me it could be cross contaminated with shrimp due to them using shrimp paste in the kimchi. Which was extremely unfortunate i am pregnant so I don’t want to end up hospitalized due to cross contamination and potentially hurt my unborn child. I ordered the safe items which I really wanted was the Korean pancake. After getting the meats we started cooking and I got informed after the fact they didn’t have Korean pancakes. I wouldn’t have even stayed due to me already being limited with what I can and do eat. If they told me they didn’t have it when I ordered. We only ordered once and left paying $78 before tip. Not worth it at all for the price nor the selection they have. We’ve eaten at a few Korean BBQ spots that cost equal and has more of a variety of options.
THIS is the place to get KBBQ. The servings were big, the sides were fantastic, the grill was a great size, and everything tasted fantastic! There are other places around town that are split focus (hot pot for example), but this place is superior for KBBQ. Trust me, I used to live in Korea Town, this place has similar in quality and service. Our waitress was a meat goddess according to my SO 😂 My SO also wanted me to let you all know that the vent was so good, her hair doesn't even smell like the KBBQ. Overall, highly recommend.
I had a pretty great time during my visit here. I was quickly attended to and was sat down right after arriving. My server AJ was amazing and explained the whole process and how the restaurant ordering works. I was happy with the quick and prompt service here. The menu is pretty good and works by a paid tier system of all you can eat. The more you pay, the better meat cuts you can get. All tiers during dinner include all of their sides. I really enjoyed their side dishes such as the Korean hot dog and kimchi fried rice! I wish they had a tray of salts and seasonings available but overall not a bad experience.
After work, I was craving something new and decided to give Ooh La La a try—Korean BBQ has been on my foodie bucket list for a while. We ordered the Cajun Chicken, Hawaiian Beef, cheese fries, and a Korean hot dog, and honestly, I enjoyed every bite. By the end of the meal, I felt like I needed to be rolled out of the restaurant—definitely came hungry and left happy. Shoutout to D for being super helpful with recommendations and guiding us through the menu. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone looking to try something delicious and a little different. LOL I was so hungry and everything smelled so good I took pics after we ate
