I recently visited Out of the Closet and unfortunately my experience was uncomfortable. I had heard both good and bad things about this location, so I wanted to check it out for myself. When I was ready to make a purchase, there was no one at the front desk to assist me. I looked around and noticed two employees trying on clothes and arguing over some jewelry instead of helping customers. It made the whole environment feel unprofessional and unwelcoming. I do want to give a shout-out to Francisco, who was the only person who actually helped me during my visit. He was kind, attentive, and made my experience a little better. I really appreciated talking with him about soccer, great customer service from him. Overall, the store has potential, but the staff professionalism definitely needs improvement. Francisco was the highlight of my visit.
1st time here was 4 months ago in which I left a positive review on Yelp. Came back and Francisco was there who helped me the first time. Store was busy considering the day before Thanksgiving. I made my way around the racks and found some goodies. The only negative in which its isnt the store fault but they could let the customers know is that there are some who are shopping and having a full fledged conversation on speaker as they are on their balcony. No I don't wanna hear what happened yesterday, No I didnt see the new flick at the cinema. Quit yelling at your kid that you will be home soon. Other then that the store is a hidden gem and despite in a stretchy turf, don't let that prevent you from visiting. Added plus they have a parking area do you can not worried about metered parking. Check it out and kudos to Francisco.
My daughter wants to come here to find a Halloween costume and they had a lot of assortments. I saw plenty of dvds, Music cds, even VHS tapes. You would have to have some time to look through all the things they have. The place was clean and well organized. They have a small parking lot that is free parking, and metered parking on the street.
Last year I’d visit this store every month. This week I went for the first time this year and the store has really gone down hill. First they are really rude. Secondly they have started putting the price tags through the clothing creating holes. What a waste. Everything I purchased is worthless now because it has holes in it. I wish I would have noticed before I paid. The fact that they care so little about donated clothing or their customers that they can’t simply tag the seams instead of creating holes speaks volumes! Thirdly they have raised prices on everything. Fourthly they take items back to “check” prices even when they are tagged $15!! Seriously like I’m going to put. $15 price tag on something. Fifth the book section is a joke. They organize them by color. What color are cookbooks or self help?
I always love going here when I’m in the area. It’s a great thrift shop with a lot of inventory, and I’m glad the profits go to people in need. The prices here are very affordable unlike Savers & Goodwill. The tag colors will have a percentage off, 50%, 30% and $1.50 items. We bought a few sweaters and some overalls that came out to $24. Anywhere else and we would have spent $100 for the same out of clothes. It was a real bargain! Love that they had furniture, plates/kitchen items and such other than clothing. It’s fun to just walk around and see all the different items. Staff is friendly. The place is relatively clean and organized. Parking can be found on the streets nearby. I’m still thinking about the lovely couch they had. Seriously so beautiful!! Wish I could have afforded it.
