My friend recommended Dr. Yang for us. My daughter started to learn at Pacific Piano with her last year. Dr. Yang is such the greatest teacher in the Bay Area. She’s professional, skillful and patient. My daughter has some improvements and more confident.
Both of my kids take individual piano lessons with Dr. Yang, and she’s a fantastic teacher. She’s very professional, dedicated, and truly puts her heart into teaching and motivating the kids. Dr. Yang genuinely cares about her students’ learning and growth, and she helps them build a strong musical foundation step by step. She’s also helping my son become more disciplined and focused. We’re so thankful to have her as their teacher! We highly recommend Dr. Yang and PPS to anyone thinking about learning piano.
Our children have been learning piano with Dr. Yang at PPS for over four years and we are very fortunate to study music with Dr. Yang, who is a loving and extremely dedicated professional. She also cares greatly about her students' learning and growth by constantly challenging her students to the best of their abilities. We also appreciate PPS for providing a structured environment for students to develop into a well rounded musician. My kids are able to build foundational knowledge through musical theory, learn different genres of music pieces, perform music at school sponsored recitals, and have the option to participate in exams and competitions. We highly recommend Dr. Yang and PPS to anyone who is considering learning piano.
Dr. Yang is an outstanding piano teacher. She maintains high standards and expects her students to put in serious effort. My daughter, who started with no piano background, has made remarkable progress compared to other kids with similar age.. Dr. Yang focuses on building a strong foundation, emphasizing proper technique, posture, and musical theory. She is patient yet firm, pushing students to improve while providing encouragement. My daughter’s skills and love for music have grown significantly thanks to Dr. Yang’s structured and attentive teaching.
Our daughters have been fortunate to study piano and music theory with Dr.Yang at Pacific Piano School. While Dr.Yang is certainly a demanding teacher, her strictness is always tempered with encouragement and a genuine desire to see her students succeed. Her high expectations have pushed our daughters to reach their full potential. Through rigorous practice and challenging assignments, they have developed a strong foundation in music theory and piano technique.
