Highly HIGHLY recommend Palms Salon - Taylor is absolutely amazing. Hands down the best stylist I’ve had in my 20 years in NYC. TL; DR - If you’re looking for a beautiful cut and custom color, run, don’t walk, to Palms Salon! Vibe: welcoming, cool and fun. Everyone you meet will greet you and make you feel at home. Every client has unique/gorgeous hair and a great relationship with their stylist. It’s the kind of place with tons of return clients. Customer Service: the best in the city. They are beyond kind and flexible and always share a very clear plan for my hair with transparent pricing. Stylists: the entire team is obviously incredibly talented, and Taylor is an absolute gem. Just an awesome person. So kind and fun, you instantly want to be her friend. She’s also so patient and helpful - she listened to everything I said (and didn’t say) and made sure to ask helpful questions to ensure we both understood what I really wanted (admittedly, I didn’t know what I wanted at the start). I don’t know how she deciphered that what I truly needed was to go from a total disaster to a cooler/beige bronde to a warmer, low lighted brown, but she did. She’s a wizard. Cut and color: Taylor nails it every.single.time. I first came in with a LOT going on - some serious past color mistakes, layers that I’d cut myself (🤦♀️) a terrible grow out, etc) and she worked some real magic over the course of a couple visits. From custom toning to low lights to the perfect cut, I’ve never been happier with my hair. Can’t recommend Taylor highly enough - so grateful that I found my hair family at Palms Salon 🙏
Taylor completely transformed my today! She’s a master hair colorist with 10 years of experience, so I was very excited for this service and she did not disappoint. Everyone was so helpful and nice! They use nice and high quality hair products. Will definitely return for additional services! Does great with natural hair. Thank you Taylor!
I came to Ky with a big task. After wearing my hair more natural, I wanted to return to bright blonde. Thanks to Ky’s expertise and a detailed consultation, my hair was safely transformed to bright blonde in just one “Transformation” service. She also suggested hair products to ensure my hair would stay healthy and strong. I couldn’t be happier with the result and highly recommend Ky for all your blonding needs.
Thank you Taylor for my amazing hair 🙏 I haven’t dyed my hair in well over 5 years and botched my hair cutting it on my own. I decided to take the jump and I’m so glad I did! My balayage done back in 2018 at another salon had a lot of beige blonde which really washed me out. Taylor understood this was my #1 concern and took time to explain why she thought the colors we agreed on would work. Taylor was super attentive throughout service — asking if I would like water multiple times, ask if pressure was okay and ensuring I was happy with my process and look the entire way. I love my look so much more than I could’ve anticipated. I 100% recommend Taylor— she will make sure you feel amazing and feel right at home in the salon!
Wow! Just finished getting The Glow Up balayage from Vanessa Martini and I can honestly say this is the best color I’ve had done - ever! I’ve tried just about every reputable stylist in NYC (as well as abroad!) and no one has come even close to her artistry. She barely needed to ask any questions and could just tell what would look good on me and made it happen! I came for a last minute appointment the day before my engagement party, and I’ve never been more in love with my hair. Am super grateful! Also huge thank you to Ariel for a gorgeous blow dry! Highly, highly recommend!
