From the initial call the representative was kind and attentive . She was able to quickly schedule same day service. My toilet handle wasn't working and the internal system wasn't the standard chain handle. getting someone to my home quickly was very important to me , it's the bathroom thst has to work! Mr.Allen arrived very pleasant and got to work.I was happy to hear the toilet flush again, everything was cleaned up no debri from packaging. I reslly appreciated that, he was even able to fix my storm door mount at no additional cost. It was a wonderful experience working with the Para Home team,highly recommend and will totally call upon them again for repairs.
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Nathan about my front door that is seized and won’t open. He was very helpful and understanding. He offered me a virtual consultation for Monday, but when it was clear how hard that would be for me to make given my profession as a Realtor, he did the virtual evaluation on the spot. He was very knowledgeable and patient and respectful of my inexperience with door problem of this nature. His team is coming out Monday in the evening to fix my front door at what would be most convenient in my schedule. He also shared with me that during your first appointment with his company, the repair is literally $1. This is unheard of and amazing. After speaking with him I can confidently say I will be using his company again and again in the future when my home needs repairs in their wheel house of expertise. Strongly recommend!
Parahome is a great company ran by great people. They surpassed our expectations for our deck rebuild. Thomas and Sam do high quality work and really listen to what you want. Michael and Nate do a great job and we will use these guys for a lot more jobs. They took our deck from garbage and made it look amazing.
Overall a positive experience. I had them remove some cabinets, run electricity and plumbing, and install a dishwasher for me. Thomas came for my initial consultation which required us to go into the crawlspace and while he was down there he noticed an air conditioning duct had become disconnected from the vent which he repaired for me, free of charge. Thomas was also available for follow up questions and picked up several after hours phone calls as I was trying to coordinate the delivery of my dishwasher, make sure I ordered the right parts for installation, etc.. The men who performed the work were friendly and professional, I was working from home in another room during the installation and they were mindful and considerate of any interruptions, knocking when they needed something and being patient if I needed to finish a call or something. At one point I heard one of the guys remind the other one to be careful opening the door because of my cat, which I appreciated. The technical work itself was good, and so far the dishwasher is working perfectly with no issues. The electricians who came also installed an overhead light/fan for me, also free of charge. The final invoice came in exactly at the amount they quoted me so there were no unpleasant surprises money wise, and I feel like I got good bang for my buck with these guys. I removed one star because of difficulties I had scheduling my appointment and for some aesthetic things with the final result. They cancelled my first appointment day-of and it took me several weeks and multiple times of reaching out to hear back from them about rescheduling. I only had a second to look at the finished product before they left because I had people waiting on a call for me, so partly my fault for not catching it while they were here, but I noticed after they left that the dishwasher was not installed level and there is a visible uneven gap at the top which will now be a little weekend project for me to adjust. All in all I would work with Parahome again but would consider a different company for projects that are very time-sensitive or where aesthetics are a top priority.
