The Park West Gallery online auction is so fun and a great opportunity to collect interesting artwork. They have made significant improvements to their invoicing system, it’s super fast and easy. My representative for the last auction was Barend Smit and he was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this event and Mr. Smit.
This museum is really amazing, I like museums like this, there are lots of interesting paintings and art.
I purchased several art pieces from Dillon Middleton on our Caribbean cruise this past summer, and the experience was truly unforgettable. My 13-year-old son was with me, and the process really bonded us — now we have great stories to share whenever guests admire the artwork in our home. Dillon was fantastic to work with: friendly, genuine, and he made everything feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
I want to share this both as a thank-you and as a contrast. Earlier that day, I had a very upsetting experience at Kush Fine Art, where I was confronted by the artist, abruptly escorted out, and threatened with security — despite having behaved respectfully as a visitor. I arrived at Park West Gallery feeling genuinely shaken and distressed by that interaction. The staff at Park West could not have been more different in the best possible way. They met me with warmth, patience, and empathy. They took time to give me a thoughtful tour, listened when I explained what had happened, and simply gave me space to breathe and enjoy the art without pressure or judgment. It was honestly healing to be treated with such basic human kindness in a public space after being treated so harshly elsewhere. The art itself is eclectic, imaginative, and rich with metaphor — but what stood out most to me was the character of the people working here. They genuinely cared about making the experience welcoming and humane. I want to emphasize this because not all galleries in Caesar’s Palace are alike. Park West exemplifies what professionalism, hospitality, and respect toward visitors should look like. I’m deeply grateful for the experience and would strongly recommend them.
This review is not just about this location specifically. This review applies to the company as a whole. I bought two pieces from Park West at one of their auctions. The sales rep specifically told me the Romero Britto "Tulip Red V" was an "original painting" with "NO digital medium." Those were her exact words. That's why I bought it. I was also told the Kre8 "Vivid River" was an original work. Turns out the Britto is on a "digital canvas" (basically a fancy print) with some acrylic and glitter dabbed on top. I confirmed this through WhatsApp with the evasive sales rep, email with a Park West representative, and by calling the Britto Gallery in Miami directly. They all confirmed it's digital canvas, not an original painting. The Kre8 piece isn't an original eithers. It's just marketed that way and reproduced to fill orders, another fact they conveniently never mentioned. I was swindled into paying original artwork prices for prints with embellishments and a mass produced souvenir. See the attached photos; the contrast between the flat digital print and the dabbed-on paint/glitter is obvious once you know what to look for. The invoice doesn't mention the medium at all, no "original," no "print," nothing. Just artist and title. Now I see why. They tell you one thing verbally then casually omit it. The ultimate in sales gaslighting. I called and emailed to cancel several times. (haven't even received the pieces yet, they're still shipping) and they said "all sales final" and my cancellation needs "approval." If needed I'll dispute the charge. "All sales final" doesn't protect lying about what you're selling. It's like selling an apple and delivering a grape. The worst part? I found hundreds of similar complaints online. Park West has multiple lawsuits, an F rating from BBB, and the same pattern everywhere - tell people it's original, don't specify on the invoice, people find out later it's a print. If you're looking for anything original, avoid buying from Park West. Still waiting to see if they'll refund me or if this gets uglier. Will update.
