Terra is amazing! She helped me so much with my last dog, Duke, and now I’ve just started working with her again looking for for my new pup. She helped me do an evaluation on a dog that I’m thinking about getting. One thing about her, she’s very open and honest and even if it’s something you don’t necessarily wanna hear she is willing to tell you, for example, if the dogs are going to need a lot of work or a little work or a little/a lot of training, etc. She’s super knowledgeable, patient, and really cares about the dogs. Her shop, Paws N’ Play, is adorable too! Highly recommend her to anyone needing a great trainer.
A huge thank you to those who recommended Terra Ruiz from Paws N Play. She was highly recommended as a dog trainer and we got even luckier to have her as our dog sitter while we were away. She provided daily updates, pictures and videos. Mochi got to socialize and play with other dogs she trains. She even got try an agility class just for fun. If anyone is looking for a trainer or a dog sitter, Terra is your person. 🐶🐾
From refreshing our obedience training to agility and scent sports, our poodle has tried almost everything there is to offer at PawsNPlay and we are privileged to be able to work with a variety of amazing trainers who give me the best advice all the time. When my picky girl wouldn’t eat her meals, Terra was there to help us customize a meal plan that would ensure both tastiness and my pup’s wellbeing. We have really come full circle with our poodle thanks to PawsNPlay- I always recommend Terra and her team of trainers to all of my dog friends.
Updating to add: I brought my new puppy back to Paws N Play (booked the community room through their website) for a private play date with friends. $15 for the hour is such a steal AND the store has a great selection of treats and toys to take home and continue the fun. I love that they have sample treats in the play area so you can test them out before you buy a full bag. I’ve added some extra pictures! We booked the canine enrichment room through Sniffspot for the first time today. It was super easy and a great value! The private play area can be utilized for play, enrichment, or as a really cool training space. We did a little bit of everything! Terra, the owner, was very kind and helpful and the space was clean and ready for us when we arrived. I didn’t get a chance to explore their other offerings too much (like the retail space, self serve bath area, and training opportunities) but I plan to be back in the future!
We love this place! The owner is very friendly. We used the self serve dog bath. Great equipment. I really liked that the showers are low enough for a short person to reach and not hurt my back! Our large dogs had no problem in this shower. $15/wash - great price We love the natural dog treats and food they have! A really great and rare selection of treats. They have an in-house cat named Sprinkles who is very brave around the dogs 🫶
