I’m so glad I found Ms. Yelena! I’ve been taking lessons at her studio in Placentia for two years, and it’s been a great experience. I have seen a huge improvement in my playing during that time. She is passionate, patient, and works with all skill levels and ages in Orange County. Looking back at how much I've learned and the obstacles I've overcome, I'm so happy I made the call to start!
I’ve been taking piano lessons in Orange County at Placentia Piano Studio from Ms Yelena for 2 years. I decided at the ripe ole age of age 70 that I wanted to do something I’ve always wanted to do, learn to play the piano. I’ve never had any formal musical training and couldn't read a musical note if my life depended on it. Yet, in spite of my musical handicap, Yelena's patience, creativity, intuitive teaching techniques coupled with her ability to adapt her professional teaching abilities to match my personal learning style, I was able to play Christmas music in less than 6 months! Her encouragement, humor and determination helped create positive and successful piano lesson experiences and has inspired me to continue taking piano lessons from Yelena. Im so happy I chose Placentia Piano Studio!
We' ve been taking piano lessons at Placentia Piano studio for 5 years. My son never told me he wanted to stop his lessons. 😊 He enjoys the repertoire, Ms. Yelena chose for him and surprisingly practices daily. Ms. Yelena is one of the best piano teachers in Orange County. Her students participated in many music events,such as Certificate of merit, National Guilt, festivals, community outreach recitals, students' concerts, and competitions. For the last 3 years, several of them won prestigious international piano competitions and performed at the most famous stages, such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles. I highly recommend Ms.Yelena if you are looking for a teacher with many years of experience, passion for her work, and love for her students.
Ms. Yelena is a wonderful teacher. My niece is currently taking lessons at her Placentia piano studio. She is taking CM exams and constantly participates in piano competitions, recitals, community outreach concerts, and music festivals. Many of Ms. Yelena’s students are the first place winners at international competitions. They perform at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Hall, and other European and Asian stages as well. I am looking forward for my niece to participate in those programs when ready :) I highly recommend Piano Lessons in Orange County
Yelena is an amazing Piano teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience. My 11-year old son’s piano skill is flourishing under her guidance. Rather than following a predetermined syllabus, Yelena customized a curriculum based on my son’s’ characteristics and ability. She has made piano a real enjoyment for my son. Yelena is very professional and work well with kids. I highly recommend her!
