Went here for a small lunch and it was perfect. Shrimp was so delicious and fresh. Martin was a super kind server. View was obviously amazing and wonderful part of the experience. We didn’t wanna linger too long either and were able to eat quickly and get out when we were done. Clam chowder was a 6/10, decent not terrible but I’ve had better.
Visiting Fisherman's Warf and stopped here for lunch w/ some friends. Approximately 11am, quick to be seated, good server/waitress (she checked on us regularly), and good food. Had a clam chowder bread bowl. It was good, nothing spectacular, but definitely good. (I think their just fun to look at moreso.) Squid appetizer was good. Muscles and linguine dish was great. Friends enjoyed their crab 🦀 , seafood platter 🐟, and soup. I would come back.
The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the clam chowder in the bread bowl was especially nice. Service was friendly and the restaurant has a relaxed waterfront vibe, making it a pleasant stop during a visit to the pier.
Considering the pre-holiday weekend, we did not have to wait much for outdoor seating that had heaters outside. The wait inside would have been considerably longer. The concierge and waiter were awesome, friendly and quick. The menu offered a variety of choices. I’ll always eat at a place at least twice before i make a final decision… that being said our food was average tasting for the price! Meal portion seemed kind of small.
Pier 39 has a treasure trove of placer to dine. PMSR was a nice little spot in our adventures for the day. The cocktails were a little too “perfumy” for our liking. We were expecting more of a rum punch kind of taste. Lobster was as fresh as can be expected. The fries were a surprise bonus of great outside crispness and tender inside. Clam chowder was top notch as well! Appetizer of crispy salmon bites were well worth it! A must get! The stylish decor was a bit off putting by the “Denny’s”esque salt and pepper shaker. I know I know. Sounds boughie. But it’s worth going through the trouble of keeping a top level asthetic
