I came in for lower back pain and sciatic pain. Matt did a thorough evaluation and really listened to me. He worked with me to improve my pain and get me back to some physical exercise without pain. He has been the best PT I have ever had and I highly recommend him!
I had total knee replacement in Jan & Feb of this year. I was referred to Pivot PT as they were the closest in my network. The staff was very friendly and encouraging. I worked with Matt for my recovery and he was amazing! He answered all my questions and encouraged me to go a bit further each time. By the end, I felt confident I would make a full recovery and get back all the range of motion I lost with bad knees. Thanks to the whole Pivot team and especially to Matt for helping me get my quality of life back! I hope I never need PT again, but if I do, I will be going back to Pivot.
At Pivot, from the beginning, Matt listened and understood that, even though I am a senior citizen, continuing to be as active as possible was important to me. He worked on helping me manage my pain, taught me how and why to stretch and worked on balance as well. I have been able to return to playing pickle ball, working out and walking without pain. He effectively used dry needling on different areas which was really beneficial. At every appointment, he was on time, prepared to work on whatever area needed assistance and used the whole appointment time to work with me. Heat or ice came after my appointment- not during our work time. Also 5⭐️ to Jasmine at the front desk. She always had a friendly greeting (by name!) each time I came in. She paid attention and assisted those who coming in or leaving who needed help with the door. Her front desk welcome really set a great tone for the place. I cannot imagine going any where else for dry needling or PT. Thank you Matt for your expertise, your patience and your willingness to get me back to my activities. I highly recommend Matt at Pivot!
I underwent rotator cuff surgery following a shoulder injury and decided to seek treatment at Pivotal Physical Therapy in Winston-Salem. Working with Marc was a game-changer as he pushed me towards my goal and helped me understand the significance of range of motion in my recuperation. I also had the pleasure of working with Matt on several occasions, and he proved to be an excellent collaborator. I strongly recommend Pivotal Therapy for anyone in need of top-notch physical therapy. I express my gratitude to Matt and Marc for their invaluable assistance in helping me overcome my distress. The entire experience was worth the effort, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Was having shoulder problems and Pivot was a perfect fit for my needs! The staff is very attentive and friendly from the front desk (Jasmine and Kendal) to the therapist, Matt, Allison, and Mark. I mostly had Matt working with me and he really helped with my shoulder! It’s obvious by the many stretches of my neck and shoulders and his advice that he has been doing this for some time! Thank you Matt and the rest of the Winston Salem Pivot team for helping me heal! I highly recommend them for all your physical therapy needs! Charlie
