I have been coming here for over two years and I’ve only had the best experiences. The quality of work and pricing is great. Lauria has been providing the best service I’ve ever had and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The salon is easy to contact and everyone is incredibly friendly and polite. Definitely recommend if you want impeccable service at a good price!
It's always hard to find a new stylist especially after following with someone for several years. My wife has been searching for a new hair stylist/color specialist since she moved from Louisville to Lexington. Read some good reviews about Planet Salon and Spa. Went in for an appointment with Brianna. The wife previously had brown hair with highlights/balayage. She was wanting to return to a dark brown solid color. After our first appointment, it turned out a bit darker than she was expecting. Even after washing it, it was still a bit on the very dark brown side--even black almost. Called Planet Salon and spoke to their manager. They have a 10 day re-do policy and were more than happy to see us for an adjustment. Saw Brianna again and told her about what we wanted. She took the time to explain to use the process and how she planned to adjust the color to our goal. She was able to fix it completely to our liking! Went out with even better color than before and hair felt healthier than ever. She included a free-of-charge hair conditioning treatment as well. She's super friendly and really listens to your goals. I think we've found our new local stylist and my wife couldn't be happier!
I had the best experience at Planet Salon!! I have recently had some major health issues and the medication I was on made my hair fall out in clumps. I mean entire strands of hair which broke of in random spots. Needless to say I was devastated. I’m by no means a person who is self centered but I have always loved all things hair, skincare, and makeup. But, my hair was and is an extension of who I am so yes I maybe at the gas station looking a mess but my hair always looked good. So losing so much of it really broke my heart. I hadn’t had my hair done professionally since April when my previous stylist just ghosted me. Plus I am unemployed due to reasons beyond my control. So I started coloring my hair myself and at the time my hair had a dark shadow root and was purple. Well I tried many different brand and colors. I finally was able to have it professionally. Crystal Litsey came highly recommended and I had seen her work and it was top notch. Since I’ve already wrote more than I probably should have I’ll make this short. Crystal is not only an amazing stylist she is the most beautiful soul I’ve met. She is totally transparent on what she thinks should be done to your hair and she puts the integrity of your hair over everything else. I truly felt like we’d been besties for years and was able to give her total creative freedom on my hair. She kept everything in budget, talked me through everything she did and even made a plan on how to get my hair healthy again. It had been so long since my hair looked and felt like my hair but Crystal did the dang thing and I can’t ever repay her for making me feel heard, valued, and beautiful. I highly recommend her, she is truly the most amazing woman ever and I’m honored to call her my friend and stylist now. 💗💗
Jacob is the best!! I’m extremely picky about my bright blonde hair & extensions but Jacob nails it every single time. He does my best friend’s hair as well & we cannot recommend him enough! 💖
I love going to Planet Salon and Spa. Bailey always cuts my hair good and I love how it looks. I don’t get my hair done that often so even though it is pricey, I don’t really mind. I had a great experience and will keep coming back in the future.
