My all-time favorite plant store!! From the second you walk in you get the coziest vibe. The staff are all knowledgeable and so friendly and helpful and the selection of plants is amazing. Plus love all the Studio Ghibli merch. Oh and also love that it’s not just a shop but a community-oriented space too!
It was a big "meh" for me. My mother and I came in from out of town, specifically to visit this plant store, and decided to make a day out of it. When we arrived, my mom really needed to use the restroom. She's in her 70s, so waiting wasn't really an option. We were directed to go to the restaurant next door. Okay, totally fine. 'No public restrooms' is understandable, so we went next door, made a small purchase, she did her thing, and we came back. While we were shopping, the cashier/owner (not sure) wasn't helpful, and seemed inconvenienced whenever we asked her a question about the plants. They have a decent selection, but the claims about "well-priced" plants were definitely overstated. These were expensive, but if you love plants, you typically just pay the markup without complaint. Also, we were intentionally supporting a small, locally owned business so we went to the register with our arms full. The picture shows about $150 worth of plants, which...okay...fine...but she was also charging us an additional $1 - $1.50 for each of the plastic plant trays. It felt like we were being nickle and dimed, so we just bought the plants and purchased the trays online for $0.10 each. I walked out of there with such a bad feeling, that I doubt I'll ever come back. Crazy to sit in traffic for 30 minutes, find parking in such a busy area, and then walk into a store with every intention of making it rain, only to be treated like our business wasn't wanted. So, I'll be taking it elsewhere.
Interesting and compact plant boutique shop with a variety of indoor and fancy leaf plants. Besides plants they also carry some fancy gift items, planter pots, books, a few gardening supplies and such.
This shop is a sweet little piece of heaven. Their plants are lush and gorgeous, lots of goods from local artists, a cute little Studio Ghibli section, and meaningful events focused on mental health and well being. I love this place and the special folks that run it. I'm so impressed with their commitment to the community. It's a great place to shop and on top of that, a portion of the proceeds go towards supporting mental health initiatives in the community.
A gorgeous plant shop with a wide variety of plants, including some rare species and larger specimens! Matt and Yumi are super special people, with incredible knowledge about plants. They are both clearly passionate about the store, their mission to give back to the community, and helping you find the right plant for your space. This shop is perfect for plant beginners and experts alike, with very reasonably priced plants and pots.
