Went for breakfast this morning. Cafe was very cold everyone including us kept our coats on.Breakfast took ages to arrive,it was tasty but lukewarm.Our drinks were also the same having been served way before breakfast arrived. It's annoying that it's still card only payment.Lots of lovely gift items and food to buy. But for occasional treats. Certainly one of the best set out garden centres around.
This is the place to be for Christmas tree decor ideas, gardening decor & even Christmas presents ideas, they have wide range of items to choose from, from white, red, blue & gold decor. But Bering mind it’s quite a bit pricey.
Not exactly sure who awarded this place ‘one of the best UK garden centres’ but it’s got to be a joke! The reviews aren’t exactly glowing, and they don’t bother responding to negative feedback either, so clearly a lack of customer acknowledgment. Don’t bother coming here unless you’re aged 70 plus, and like a load of tacky merchandise. Do you ever feel like modernising or keeping up with the times? Maybe even attracting a younger clientele?! You don’t even allow dogs to make your boring and drab centre more interesting. Why exactly don’t you allow dogs? Don’t bother coming here, Dobbies is far more fun, interesting, had a wider range of quality items and is dog friendly!
The prettiest garden centre ever! The Staff are awesome and really care about the plants they sell. The cafe has scrumptious cake that you can eat inside or on the paved patio outside with comfy chairs. It's fabulous for the mobility impaired and staff go out of their way to help you. A little oasis in a world of noise.
Had a super afternoon cream tea with family here. The service was excellent, even though it was a busy Saturday lunchtime, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and cheese board was awesome. Well worth the price with drinks refills included. WELL DONE Planters Pacific.
