I needed a space to film my podcast. At first, I was set on using Peerspace, but something told me to give this event space a try — and I’m so glad I did! The venue was spotless, parking was convenient, and the owner was both friendly and super responsive. The overall experience was smooth and professional, and moving forward, this is definitely where I’ll be filming my podcast. Highly recommend! 🎥
From my initial call to inquire about the event space Akia was very professional and helpful with the details. The entire process was extremely easy the space was perfect for hosting my best friends bridal shower we had a great time the space was nice and clean and a good price compared to other places I looked into. I would definitely book again. Thank you for everything!
From the time I inquired about hosting my sister’s bday dinner at Plush Events Venue, Akia has been communicative, accommodating, & helpful. The venue is beautiful! My family enjoyed both the inside & outside space in the back. From the acrylic chairs, to the LED lighting system, the grass wall decor, the backdrop & lighting system in the outside space, as well as the technical amenities, I was pleased with my reservations. I would recommend this space to anyone whose looking to host future events.
We flew from NC to my hometown in Philly to celebrate my surprise 50th birthday . PLUSH EVENTS VENUE was selected by the host and it was an absolute GREAT CHOICE. The owner and operator AKIA PHILLIPS was the perfect combination of professionalism, efficienancy, and elegance. The space easily and comfortably accomodated 50 seated guest with an area to dance. The sound system was clear but not overwhelming. The decor was EXACTLY what I dreamed it would be. Access to venue was seamless for both the host and vendors (mixologist ,DJ, caters). The atmosphere (Lighting) can be adjusted to fit the occasion! As a super added bonus, there is an private outdoor area that is easily accessible that my guest were able to enjoy. It had all the luxuries that the inside held. I have a huge family that all live in Philadelphia. PLUSH EVENTS VENUE will forever be my go-to for special events! Thank PLUSH VENUE and AKIA for making my 50th memorable!
I attended the launch party this past weekend at Plush and this venue was intimate, classy and beautifully decorated! The owner, Akia (not me, we share the same name lol) is kind, creative and super professional! Everything was impeccably ran at top tier quality from the mobile bar, food, professional photography, coat check, elegant lighting and music! The grass wall and swing is super cute and definitely insta worthy! Not to mention, the security out front was an added plus! Her building even offers two Air B n B suites upstairs and an outdoor patio space that guest can book as well!
