We recently hired Pro Painting Services to repair and paint a water damaged ceiling on our staircase. From initial communications with Peter to the completion of work by Simon, it was a pleasure working with this team. The completed job was high-quality and I was impressed by the good care and clean-up that Simon took while working diligently to complete the repair. He was thoughtful in explaining what he was working on, which I sincerely appreciated. I would highly recommend Pro Painting Services for any upcoming home improvements.
Where to begin! Simon was incredible from start to finish—I truly cannot recommend him enough. When we moved in, our apartment was drenched in gray. We wanted to brighten it up with white throughout, but our trim was cracked and yellowed, the walls were scuffed, and there was wear of many, many years of tenants everywhere. Knowing how tricky it is to paint light over dark, I wanted to make sure we worked with someone excellent. I had first hired another highly recommended painter, but the experience was disappointing: streaky application, paint splatters on the floor, texture on all the moldings, and slow progress with no opportunities to check in until it was too late. A couple of months later, I reached out to Simon. From the very first walkthrough, he was incredibly detailed—pointing out everything the previous painters had done incorrectly and explaining how he would fix it. He followed up with a thorough proposal that broke down exactly where every dollar was going. Simon and Peter showed up on time every day. They prepped our apartment meticulously, carefully moving and covering furniture, sanding and patching every surface. Because I wanted a smooth finish on the trim, Simon sprayed everything—including the hundreds of spindles on our staircase—and the result is flawless. When it came time for the walls, they started with the smallest room so I could see the color in action. I ended up changing my mind, and Simon was so patient in helping me find the right shade. The final result is nothing short of transformative. It feels like a brand new apartment. Simon and his team were fast, professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely kind. My partner and I even joked that we’ll miss having them around!

Simeon and Peter did an excellent job! The first time I hired them was last year to paint two bedrooms and they were immaculate. From when I got the quote to when they were done with the project, Simeon was always communicating and making sure we were on the same page. Simeon was very helpful, flexible, patient, respectful, and polite- traits that are hard to find in contractors nowadays. I hired them again this year to paint the ceiling of the first floor after a sheetrock repair along with the walls, foyer, and trim around the front door. Again, the level of preparation and detail is well worth the price. I had two other painters do work in my house before and they were always taking shortcuts (not removing switch covers, painting around, not using tape, not priming, not covering the floors) and the finished work looked very sloopy. Simeon had to re-prep and sand the ceiling on the first floor because the previous painter did not sand it and just patch mpainted it. I highly recommend Simeon and Peter, and they might be one of the best painters in Boston. FYI painting is not easy and not everyone can do it well like they do. They also moved all the furniture back to where it was and left my house cleaner than it was before they started painting.
Simon and Peter are hands down the best painters in the Boston area, and the nicest guys you could ask to work with. Simon is incredibly responsive by phone, and they both work extremely hard to get the projects done as quickly as possible. We have an antique home, and our walls and ceilings had many bad patches over years of various cracks. Simon gave us very reasonable quotes to repair the shoddy patch work and afterwards the walls and ceilings truly looked brand new. I would highly, highly, highly recommend them for any paint work needed, and will absolutely be calling them for all the work needed for our house.
