I texted Mrs. Chris about doing my makeup a few weeks before my prom and let me just say it turned out better than I could’ve ever imagined. She would ask me after each step if I liked it to be sure I was happy with it, my face was gleaming in every picture and it’s genuinely the prettiest I’ve ever felt! Thank you Chris ❤️
Chris was absolutely amazing. I had her do my makeup for my engagement pics, bridal shower and my wedding day. She made me feel like a beautiful queen each and every time. I had so many compliments on my makeup on my wedding day and at my bridal shower. Not only is Chris amazing at doing makeup, she is very personable and funny and easy to talk to. When I sat down in her chair to get my makeup done she was a calming force from all the wedding activities for the day. Would totally recommend her!!
Chris is a phenomenal makeup artist and consummate professional. I felt and looked completely gorgeous on my wedding day. She handled a bridal party of 8 plus the moms and several aunties with a smile and calm demeanor despite our anxiety. She perfectly captured the slightly vintage-y glam bold lip look I was going for. If I ever need makeup in the NOLA area again (or even have the vaguest excuse to have professional makeup), Chris will be my first call.
Chris is the best. Did my daughter’s makeup for prom 10 years ago. Did both of our makeup for college graduation and will be doing our makeup for her wedding this year. Would not trust anyone else for some of the most important days in our life.
Chris was incredible for my wedding day!! I scheduled a trial with her to make sure we could know in advance what look I’d have and she was truly just perfect. I didn’t have a perfect picture of what I wanted and she walked me through every step of the process. She checked with me frequently as she did my makeup to ask “does this look like you?” which I think is so incredibly smart and perfect, to make sure she’s not doing makeup in a way that strays too far from what her client naturally looks like or usually does in terms of makeup. She also did my mom’s makeup and because she rarely wears anything she was nervous about looking too “made up” or too different from herself and Chris absolutely nailed it. She made my mom look younger and refreshed and stunning and she left the chair feeling great about it. My makeup also stayed on ALL NIGHT and I even had people commenting on how it still looked flawless at my wedding after party until 2am (over 12 hours of wear later). I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and Chris’s professionalism, perfectionism, kindness, and talent is largely to thank. I highly recommend her!
