Pretty good spot for a walking 9 hole. Everytime I have played it has been about 2.5 hours since we were waiting for the group in front. Not too difficult. Prices are very reasonable. Driving range is good as well and can accommodate drivers on the bottom floor. Good selections of beers.
It's a great place to play a quick 9-hole round in the city. It's larger than other 9-hole courses in the area, and best of all, it requires three driver shots, which is a nice bonus. If you plan your time wisely, the price is reasonable, and the difficulty level is reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys 9-hole courses.
A Hidden Gem for Locals – Great Vibes, Cold Beer, and Affordable Buckets As a local trying to level up my golf game (and just my lifestyle in general), I gotta give Pruneridge Golf Club its well-deserved props. I recently pulled up to the driving range with a buddy, and even though we forgot our clubs at home (rookie move, I know), the staff had us covered. They had some clubs available for us to use free of charge, which was a huge relief and honestly just speaks to the chill, helpful vibe of the place. The range itself is super clean and laid-back. Buckets were reasonably priced, and they have a shaded area which is clutch on warm days. There aren’t chairs for every single stall, but there are enough if you’re planning to kick back for a bit. I grabbed a cold beer while I was there, and let me tell you—there’s something about swinging at balls with the sun out and a drink in hand that just hits different. It’s not a massive facility, but that’s what I like about it—it’s got that low-key local charm without the stress or pretentious energy. The location is convenient, especially if you’re from around the South Bay, and it feels like a great spot to escape for a bit, reset, and get a few swings in whether you’re solo or with a friend. If you’re looking for a solid, down-to-earth place to practice your swing, hang out for a bit, or even just get introduced to golf without spending a fortune, Pruneridge is the move. I’ll definitely be back, and next time, I’ll remember my own clubs… probably.
It’s our home course. We live just down the street from it. I’m a total beginner but my Son and Husband have played for years yet it’s a great course for all of us. Great driving range and practice putting green. The pro shop is extremely helpful and they do have lessons. Matt Novach was recommended as an instructor. There’s a nice patio area with a fire pit to sit around and have a drink afterwards. There’s also a restaurant and a food truck but I’m not sure the hours of the food truck is available? But the food was good. Pruneridge has always been our go to place when we want to go golfing.
Many people come here for the range, but I find the short 9 hole here is rather elegant. Course design is simple, but the route is a very enjoyable 2 hour walk, especially on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Only thing to beware of is that tee box of Hole 7 is facing west, means you need to swing against the 🌇 sunset, make sure your swing will not be interrupted by it.
