The guy was cool but we got there at 11pm and they refused to do karaoke saying that if we sang everyone else would and they didn't want that because tuesdays aren't that busy so refused
Loved it!!!! Just had my first time here and I felt so at home that I was able to sing in front of other people for the first time ever! So much fun — the drinks are reasonably priced, there are plenty of places to sit and hang out, and the staff are so cool and friendly! Can't wait to come back 💕💕💕
Fun place and the drinks are very well priced. Karaoke is busy and fun, but they really need a sound system upgrade. It's pretty soft and you can hardly hear the background music when singing. But it is super fun, the DJ is super excellent and nice, and you won't have a bad time here. Always a good time. Would be a perfect experience with a better sound system.
I went with some co-workers, all travel nurses, and we had A BLAST!! You can't NOT have something to do...Punky's is inside a bowling alley with great snacks and reasonable lane charges, then the bar itself serves good drinks, there are pool tables, dart boards, AND karaoke. If you go and don't have fun, it's cause you're lame. It's a hole in the wall kind of place but it's clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and even on a Friday night there was a good sized crowd but with plenty of space to sit and mingle. I'm only in Albuquerque for a couple more weeks and I'm sad I didn't know about this place sooner. Definitely worth having a night out there. Thank you for an awesome time Punky's and Co.!!
My experience through the years has been wonderful at this place...until recently. The DJ that hosts Karaoke is so rude 😤...granted, I sang my one and only song, but as people kept leaving and there was more opportunities to sing again, he kept letting the same people sing again and again. When I approached him about it, he replied back in a snarky way and totally abused his position. I understand that regulars should be a priority, but I feel that new client tell is also important. This guy is only driving new customers away 🙄 😒 FIRE HIM PLEASE!!!
