Kirsty is absolutely amazing!!! We worked with her for our first puppy, and when we recently got our second, we didn’t even consider looking for anyone else. The first time around, after trying other trainers, Kirsty stood out because she truly understands how dogs think, not just what they do. Our first dog is very much a “doer,” while our second is a “thinker,” and she quickly picked up on how each of them processes situations and reacts. From there, she tailored the training to suit each dog individually — and that level of understanding made all the difference. She is incredibly patient and always willing to answer any question (big, small, or “obvious”). She’s also very generous with her support outside of sessions, often helping via WhatsApp, which has been invaluable. What continues to impress me is how thoughtfully she adapts her approach. Kirsty takes the time to understand not only each dog, but also our personal situation. Her solutions are never one-size-fits-all — they’re tailored to what we can realistically do (and sometimes can’t), which makes the training feel supportive and achievable rather than overwhelming. This time around, we’re working with a reactive dog, which can be very stressful. Kirsty has helped us immensely to understand why he reacts the way he does and, most importantly, how we can help him recover, build confidence, and feel safe. Thanks to her guidance, we’re already seeing progress and feel hopeful that he will live a full, happy life :) I also really appreciate her online mini videos, which are organised by key life skills like confidence building. They’re short, easy to follow, and perfect for everyday life — helping me build a stronger relationship with my dog and keep him engaged throughout the day. Our dogs absolutely love her!! I truly couldn’t recommend Kirsty highly enough, and I will 100% be reaching out to her again when we get our next puppy :D Paws down, the best trainer we’ve ever worked with!
Bringing home our first rescue dog was always going to be a challenge, not least, dealing with her separation anxiety. With Kirsty's expert guidance, we have made great progress and our lovely Gracie continues to grow onto a fun, vivacious, but well mannered dog. She can even roll over and play dead! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kirsty for dog training and behavioural guidance.
Kirsty did an amazing job with our nervous whippet, Leo. He had lost his confidence with other dogs and had become quite reactive. Over the weeks working with Kirsty we saw Leo's confidence grow and he now is so much more relaxed on his walks. Kirsty is a perfect trainer for someone who wants a compassionate, kind and patient trainer for their dog.
Kirsty is amazing I can’t praise her enough. She came to my home and with my puppy and 3 other puppies from the same litter had basic training. She explains everything so clearly the puppies all responded to the training as did we. It gave us all the foundation to carry on and have lovely well behaved puppies. If you need any help training your dog I can’t recommend Kirsty enough.
Our 3-and-a-half month old border collie became fearful of other dogs after an incident with another dog and was showing early signs of fear aggression. I contacted Kirsty to ask about the socialisation classes and was immediately put at ease with her calming reassurance that with the correct socialisation he would be fine. I was also blown away by the advice she provided on the call; despite us not yet being a customer Kirsty gave us some excellent advice on dealing with him in the interim and helped us get him ready to meet other dogs again properly. The session we attended was really informative and felt safe for us and the pup, she explained everything we were doing, why he acts certain ways and was shown how to socialise him in a nonconfrontational manner to alleviate his stress. I'd 100% recommend Kirsty to anyone looking to get on the right track with their dogs and we'll certainly be attending further classes. Thank you Kirsty!
