Quiches & Pies is one of my favorite local pastry shops, the moment you step in you’re greeted with the aroma of freshly baked quiches, sweet pies, and flaky pastries that are all made with care and outstanding flavor. Their savory quiches are rich and satisfying, while the pies and sweet pastries have the perfect balance of buttery crust and delicious fillings, and pairing any of it with a coffee from their café menu makes for an ideal breakfast or dessert stop. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are friendly, and every visit feels like a little treat, totally worth the short drive for anyone who loves gourmet pastries and baked goods.
What Parisian dreams are made of! Quiches & Pies is just that. They are a specialty coffee shop that showcase an array of DELICIOUS quiches and beautiful French pastries. The decor takes me back to the cafes you find in every corner of France. In true viennoisiere fashion, everything is made in house, using imported ingredients & baked daily. It’s hard to find that in the Valley, they are a place that cannot be missed. My favorites are the Pain au Raisin, Malmaison Quiche, Croissant aux amandes, the tartelettes.. everything is good! The custom ceramics are quite beautiful too. & their dirty chais are the BEST. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the pastry chefs are talented, what more could you ask for! I’ve taken some to my parents up north and every pastry was still as delicious the next day! Merci, Q&P!
We got this to go for our first time visit. I was super impressed with the quiche’s and pastry. Tried the Chorizo and Mal mason. I never get chorizo and tried it on a whim because it had potatoes and glad I did. My favorite quiches in Az and a gold standard to me. The pistachio chocolate croissants was really good. This place took care of all my sweet and savory factors. Can’t wait to go back and try more things.
What a beautiful surprise to find this wonderful French bakery while I was really hungry and looking for a delicious treat to break fast! Gorgeous quiche and gigantic croissant and pain. Imported butter and chocolate make everything special. Lovely people behind the counter, comfy atmosphere gives French oooh lala. And delicious coffee! Be careful - if you pass it up on Ray Rd you have to make a tricky U-turn to get back. It’s right in the SE corner marketplace.
You know it's a good sign when you walk into a French cafe in Arizona and hear customers speaking French with the head chef. These pastries are nothing short of immaculate, and coming here on the weekend to try new items has been something I look forward to all week. The quiche quite literally melts in your mouth, the croissants are crispy and fluffy and buttery, and the pain au pistachio is a must. I always start to worry at a cafe that does their food so well if their coffee taste like an afterthought, but even the coffee here is wonderful. If you don't live in Chandler (I don't) it's well worth the drive for an amazing baked goods experience!
