I have been going to Red Dot on and off for about eight years now. It is miles above other big box gyms I have also used. The trainers are exception (I have worked out with nearly all of them), very experienced and professional. They have been great in helping me adapt to my changing goals and capabilities. The same can be said of the classes, they are challenging with enough variety that I can always find one to fit into. The best part is the friendly environment and sharing with folks interested in improving their fitness.
My chronic low back pain and tightness (5+ years of suffering and managing) is 95% gone after 3 months of doing the Targeted Total Body Fitness class as many days as possible! Sometimes I still can’t believe it. I have had a WFH/desk job with a sit stand desk job since 2019. Before joining I tried to work out and run on my own but without people watching how I lifted weights, it only exacerbated my back pain. I tried online instagram DIY guides on things to do to correct back pain, and while those certainly helped, the back pain always seemed to return. I also tried workout apps like Chalk but that too also made back pain worse because no one was watching my form. Some close friends who were already members encouraged me to join and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The first 3-4 weeks of classes were tough because I was still managing low back pain and trying to do the workouts. Eventually though my body began to adapt and pain was less and less. The trainers at Red Dot are top notch professionals and are always there to correct your form and ensure you’re performing the exercise properly to prevent injuries. You can tell they’re passionate at what they do. They also meet you at your current fitness level and offer alternatives so you can still do the exercises. In my case they corrected my hip hinging motion. I really had no idea I was bending down wrong with a rounded back to squat and lift. They connected the dots for me and now with their corrections it feels so much more comfortable to lift weights with no pain. :) This gym is more than a regular gym. It is a supportive and encouraging community, lifting others up to reach their full potential.
The gym is immaculate and outfitted with the best equipment. The coaches are knowledgeable and hungry to continue to learn and master their craft. Clients are in good hands under Scott and Cece's leadership. Red Dot Fitness is the place to workout now that gyms are opening up again! Not only is the staff knowledgable and personable, but the resources and equipment available to gym goers is outstanding and top-notch. Don’t be afraid to ask staff for help if you are a beginner; I am a newbie and they have taught me so much over this last year (pre-covid closing gyms). They are extremely clean with sanitation stations and providing endless access to disinfectant wipes, leaving me feeling safe & sound. I HIGHLY recommend this gym! Happy to be back.
I love the small group classes at 🔴! You get a lot of one-on-one attention correcting your movements. I get a great workout every time I go! Staff is friendly and everyone knows your name!
