Absolutely love this store!! Great for crafters who are just starting out and don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on supplies or avid crafters who are more flexible with mixing and matching craft materials! They have such a great selection of yarn sorted by color and material! I was able to find 3 100% wool skeins priced at under $5 a skein! The energy and excitement in the store is palpable 💕 thank you Remainders for creating a sustainable crafting third space!
Fun store with thousands of crafting supplies. It's like a garage sale/ thrift store for crafters. You poke through hundreds of bins looking for treasures. Most bins are clearly marked. A lot of the fabric is $4 a yard and you never know what you'll find. Staff was helpful and the overall energy of the place is uplifting and crafty. Considering all of the random items they have, it was extremely organized. Costumer and crafter must try.
Such an amazing place and community resource! The store is like a typical thrift store, but for art and craft supplies - you never know what you’re going to find!! What you see one day may be long gone the next time you’re there. There is a ton of fabric and sewing supplies, yarn, office and classroom supplies, and so much more. They have some clothing, jewelry, and home decorations. Classes are offered by volunteers in the upstairs studio space. There is a long staircase to get up. Not sure if there is an elevator. Quality of the class depends on the teacher/volunteer. Offerings change every month, but sewing classes are always offered. They also offer open hours for studio space so you can use the space and/or machines. Parking can be a little tough!
This is a great place to check out if you would like more affordable craft items but things are not a guarantee. They are a non profit charity. Keep that in mind. They are selling made bags to help donate to fire victims. I am going to put some stuff together to donate soon.
If you’re a teacher and have to buy tons of your own supplies, this is the place to come! It’s cheap, it’s sustainable, and it caters to all kinds of projects and crafts. If you’re creative and want to get inspiration for your next project, be careful, because you’ll definitely buy more than you should. Nothing but good things to say, will add more once I get a chance to attend one of their classes! What a great community space. I hope they eventually open more locations.
