We recently relocated to Richmond, and while our Ethan Allen furniture had survived six previous moves without issue, this last one took a bit of a toll. We reached out to Renew Home Furnishings and sent over photos of the damaged pieces. They quickly got back to us with an extremely fair estimate for in-home repairs. Scheduling was easy, and Brandon arrived on time and fully prepared. He did an amazing job - each piece was restored so flawlessly, it’s like the damage never happened. George, one of the owners, even stopped by during the repair to check in and make sure we were happy with the work. He also recommended a fantastic local rug shop - Capel Rugs in Short Pump - which was a great added bonus. Couldn’t be happier with the service, craftsmanship, and care from the team at Renew. Highly recommend if you need expert furniture repair in the Richmond area.
Monica and George are true experts and so easy to work with. We are excited to have them reupholstering our vintage chaise lounge.
The team at Renew is magic and has saved us several times. The latest rescue involved a beloved art-deco leather sofa that was incredibly not beloved by a visiting cat. After months of trying every product and internet remedy that swore it would nuke feline pee, we almost threw our treasured sofa in the landfill. Renew took it on, at a reasonable fee(line) and basically rebuilt it. It’s perfect. Thank you for your hard work.
Renew put new cushions in my mother-in-law’s sofa. It looked awful and was terrible to sit on. Now it looks lovely and sits quite well! I will definitely go back.
I absolutely recommend this place a million times over and over again. Excellent customer service & quality workmanship. Monica & George helped us with selecting beautiful but durable fabric and upholstered our California King Sleigh Bed. They're reasonably priced, and the time to complete the project was more than acceptable. Derrick & I are very pleased. We will return for any future upholstery needs.
