I went here a while ago and got sucker punched after the whistle had gone. Basically, a young guy clearly heard the whistle so we put down our gloves. And then he clocked me in the head when the instructor wasn't looking. I guess I could have said something to him or someone else but yeah, not a safe vibe.

Travelled to Edinburgh from the states and dropped into Tom's 12:15 gi glass on Monday afternoon. The facility was clean, the members were extremely friendly (and good at Jiu-Jitsu), and Tom couldn't have been more welcoming. I will absolutely be back here if I ever find myself in Edinburgh again
I had the pleasure of visiting Rick Young’s Jiu Jitsu gym while in Edinburgh, and it was easily one of the best training experiences I’ve had. Rick is incredibly knowledgeable and technical in his jiu jitsu, and he took the time and effort to personally make me feel very welcome in his gym. The students were friendly and (a little too!) skilled, creating a great atmosphere and camaraderie on the mats. As an experienced practitioner who’s trained at many gyms, I really appreciated the mix of belts levels at Rick's gym which made for well-rounded and challenging sessions. Highly recommended for anyone passing through or looking for top-tier instruction in Edinburgh. Thank you, Rick!
Fantastic place to train. I train at MNBJJ in Glasgow & dropped in on the Saturday class. Rick was very welcoming, great detail on the techniques taught. What really makes a club is the people & they were awesome. Looking forward to returning in the future.
