River Oaks music school has been such a positive experience for my son and me! They are wonderful, patient, flexible and extremely convenient. Additionally, they offer lessons beyond piano if your kiddo wants to explore other musical paths. You probably drive by all the time so stop by and check them out; you won’t be sorry.
We just had our fourth lesson with Alice and so far we are really pleased! My six and a half year old is new to piano and already can identify notes on a piano and play a couple of right handed songs. Alice is doing a great job covering a mix of foundational theory and some fun songs. She is so calm and patient in each lesson and we appreciate her focus and kindness!
I love this school! Both of my boys have taken classes here. Ms. Hanna Hrybkova is my son’s violin teacher. It is amazing how much progress he made in a couple of years. She doesn’t only focus on theory and application, but correct posture to minimize injuries. My son has had a few violin teachers and none of them took this important C factor into account. Additionally, my other son has taken lessons from Mr. Skiles. He is also a wonderful, understanding, and practical teacher. In a few sessions my son was already reading music! Ms. Hannah and Mr. Skiles are both caring and flexible teachers. Through their lessons, their great passion for music is always transmitted to their students.
My daughter attends the River Oaks Music school. She absolutely loves it!! Very thankful to her teacher Mr Tony. She had her first recital yesterday. The recital was conducted by the music school itself , it was a great program.
