Incredible space for practicing yoga. The space has a beautiful energy and atmosphere, and the teachers and staff are very respectful and professional. I love it! By far the best place in Denver!
I started yoga, in earnest, about one month ago. I've attended about 20 sessions at Root to Rise. I'm a 55 y/o male, and there are many others like me. I have poor flexibility, and I'm hoping yoga will improve motion, especially in my lower back. I can also feel my back developing some muscles that were probably atrophied due to desk work. The staff knows me by name. Hot yoga is very hard, but I am learning about the many benefits. I also understand why everyone calls it a "practice", because that's what it is. It's great to exercise with others, too. I'm a runner, and it's hard to meet people when you're pounding the pavement at odd times.
I can't say enough good things about the Sculpt class with Chrissy! The workout was an incredible mix of challenging and fun—just the right balance to push you without feeling overwhelmed. Chrissy is an amazing instructor—her energy is infectious, and she knows exactly how to keep everyone motivated and focused. She provides clear instructions, helpful modifications, and constant encouragement throughout the session
I started going to root to rise in January 2024 and could not be happier to have joined this wonderful community. The instructors are all phenomenal teachers with their own perspectives and personal philosophies on yoga. There are also a wide range of class types that allows for greater diversity each week if you need to change up your routine. I’m so happy to be a member of this studio and encourage everyone to take a class here. You might be hooked for life.
In all my years of yoga, this has been one of the most welcoming studios. Yoga Pod Lowry provides a balance of a studio you can work out with barre and fit classes, and also a place to slow down, be mindful, and connect to your spiritual side. Not to mention they offer Aerial classes and have great retail options. If your looking for a community, a place to learn and grow- this is the place!
