Sacfit is amazing! While other clubs have had to close for low enrollment or raise their prices to astronomical levels, Sacfit has been able to keep a fun, large group of runners at a very fair price. And the low price doesn't mean you skimp on anything. The training is top notch from your first 5k through Marathon, or even the more advanced Boston Qualifier or 100 miler is that's what you're aiming for. Whatever you want to do in running, Sacfit will help you get there in a fun, affordable, skilled group. Highly recommend!

Nothing but good to say about SacFit and the community built by those within SacFit. You can be at any level in your running journey. SacFit can accommodate those just wanting to explore the outdoors walking thru to training for fitness, or the next 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon, marathon all the way up to Ultra Marathon distances including the ultimate Western States 100! Why join SacFit? You get detailed, weekly running schedules, knowledge from folks who have ran all their lives and do it well, and a great support network of folks willing to be there for one another. All long distance runs are well planned and coordinated. Aid stations are available and everyone gets a great workout.
I've been a member of SacFIT over the past 10 years. It's a great running club if you are just venturing into a walking or running program or are an experienced competitive runner. Members compete in everything from 5ks to Boston to ultras. There really is something for everyone in this friendly and sociable group. Our long Saturday runs are the best! I'm always so happy I made the effort to lace my running shoes and meet my running buddies on the American River Trail.
