My sixteen year old daughter with long hair to her mid back decided it was time for a total transformation. She wanted to have her hair cut short. After spending a week sifting through hairstyles on line she found the one she really liked and printed a photo for reference. We chose Sage salon because of the great reviews we read about them on line. The booking lady made an appointment for my daughter with a stylist named Jennifer. What an amazing professional and a great person too! Jennifer doesn't just cut hair, she takes time to get to know her clients to get the feel for what they are really asking for and what is compatible with their lifestyle and their type of hair. Jennifer immediately knew my daughter wasn't the kind of girl that wants to spend long time every day styling her hair but at the same time, she wants a hair style that is really edgy and modern. Jennifer explained to her how different type of hair behave when cut and what styling products can help to achieve the style my daughter wanted without spending too much time in front of a mirror. She was so patient with my daughter and so kind! After a couple of tears of fear my daughter had shed, Jennifer started cutting and at the same time explaining step by step exactly what she was doing and why and it was just smiles from that point on. Jennifer created a beautiful hair style for my daughter that is light-weight and full of texture, which is just what my daughter wanted. It looked exactly like the picture my daughter brought with her. After two days, a hair wash and getting caught up in a rain storm her hair still looks freshly cut and just the same as it looked in the salon. Styling in the morning takes her less than 5 minutes and the only product needed is a little bit of styling cream. The haircut made my daughter look younger and I was afraid it would be a problem for her, but she doesn't mind at all. She just loves her new hair 😊. Luna is awesome. Highly recommend! Definitely found what I was looking for. My friend and I decided to scedduel are appointment and booked on line with her. Luna is at the Sage On 2nd location. 203 Argonne Ave . Long Beach 90803 In Belmont Shore... After are hair was done we decided to walk over to Saint On Second restaurant for a drink an appatizer. We felt so good confident and sexy.
I have been coming to Sarah for color and cuts for over a year now and she has never failed me once ! She takes her time to understand what I need and keeps track of all the color formulas for the future. She is the sweetest and extremely talented. Highly recommended!
I was so surprised by Sage Salon! I loved the vibe and decor and more than anything, I LOVE my haircut! I have very thin hair and they were very damaged. Jessica cut the right amount and styled it in a way that makes me feel so pretty but doesn't require a lot of styling. My husband got a haircut too and I feel he got his first good haircut in YEARS. We'll definitely coming back.
I'm loving my new hair!! Went to get my hair dyed and cut here with Julienne. She is amazing! Very easy to work with. She works with you to get your desired style and works her magic. I told her I wanted to go lighter but keep my hair healthy. She gave me a Bayalage blondish mix color and a V cut layer style. She was very gentle, treated my hair with high quality care, and very attentive. I look forward to future visits and will definitely bring family and friends here. I recommend you to visit Julienne at this location for your hair care needs!
