This Salisbury has been in sherwood park for many years. We moved here over23 years ago. This was the go to place for seeds, plants and the most beautiful flowers around. We just moved back after a long time away. It was just like we never left. Staff was so helpful like before. The front counter sales person, a young lady named Rowan managed our sales. It was not much we purchased, but I was so impressed on how she handled our sales but most important , she treated my wife like she was her grand mother. She was so polite and knowledgeable. Salisbury should be so proud to have her as a team member. I got off track . The stock of Christmas items and household decorations are just as I remember. Thank you Salisbury for still being here.
Large beautiful greenhouse with many selections of flowers, veggies and herbs. I purchased herbs for a small herb garden and they were high quality. Very fragrant and tasty. Grew quickly. No bugs on anything. Also got a few flowers because of their unique names. Very lovely place.
Inspired by the Masters (golf tourney on tv today) we were looking for an early spring spot to browse some flowerage, and funny enough, a lot of places in South Edmonton weren’t open this early Sunday April morning. A quick jaunt to Sherwood Park and sure enough—Salisbury was open (as always!). This place has been around forever, and it’s easy to see why. They’ve got everything: soil, garden gnomes, knickknacks, and all kinds of garden goodies. Some of the trinkets are a little pricey, but the plants are reasonably priced and great quality. You could easily tackle a small to midsize landscaping project with what’s here—and probably bigger jobs too (though I didn’t check out the yard). There was even a gardening class going, with proceeds donated to the cause of choice today-the place is pet friendly also (on a leash). Just a wonderful place to stroll around and get inspired. There’s a reason they’ve stood the test of time.
What a wonderful place to spend a few hours wandering through the plants and garden accessories. There is a quiet little alcove where you can sit, enjoy a coffee ☕️ (no charge) & have a great conversation with friends or family. The Christmas display is AMAZING! You can spend a whole afternoon looking at the beautiful trees, ornaments & center pieces. My friend & I go there a couple of times a month just to enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty.
