I have been coming to Salon at 31st for years. Iris is great. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my color and cut as I have since Iris. It looks like I have highlights. Amazing for color!!
Had a gel manicure done on Tuesday, 5/13 for my daughter’s wedding this past weekend. The gel started peeling on Friday night and this is how it looked on day of the wedding (see below) on both the thumbs. They also included a 20% tip for this shoddy manicure! 1 star is me being generous.
I’m here in VA on vacation and was in desperate need of having my nails done. After scheduling my service online, Bobbie called to clarify and confirm the services I requested. She was super sweet and attentive, and she understood what I needed. Parking was free, easy, and accessible. My nail tech was Dari, and I was more impressed by her than any nail tech I’ve had in a while. Her care and precision were apparent from the beginning. I didn’t have to offer any critiques at all, and I am very particular about my nails, okay? I requested a simple design even though I hadn’t scheduled it, and my nails turned out amazing! I haven’t walked out of a salon satisfied in a long time, but today, I left there 100% satisfied! Thank you again, Dari and Bobbie!!
My massage with Princess was the best I have ever had. She worked areas in my hips and glutes that were much needed. She also focused on the knots in my shoulder near an old ACL injury. Her positive energy was felt as soon as her hands touched my back. I was so comfortable with her. I'm grateful the rain came today and I decided to do some indoor self care for my body.
