Dear Team, I had the pleasure of working with Chris Urena, and I truly felt compelled to write and express my appreciation. From the very beginning, Chris made the booking process incredibly smooth and easy. He was responsive, thoughtful, and a pleasure to deal with, which made a big difference to the overall experience. My father and I both felt well taken care of, and that level of care did not go unnoticed. Chris’s professionalism, combined with a very personal and human approach, gave us complete confidence and peace of mind throughout the process.
I booked the PGA West Pete Dye Mountain course. The reservation was easy and confirmation sent immediately. What was not outlined in this reservation was that they just opened up the course after months of growing new sod / grass and that it was cart path only. Most disappointing. Because we booked through this site and not directly with the course, we could not change to the other course that was open for carts. We also paid more going through this site. And the golf shop did not have our name, only that the reservation was made by the outside company. The course was beautiful and tough. The rough was high, sometimes 6 or 7 inches tall. Bring lots of golf balls as they disappear often. You can't beat the picturesque setting. Staff friendly and tried to help us in the shop and the course staff was helpful. The golf marshal asked us to keep up with the group in front of us, and we did. But, considering the cart path only and rough and the wide fairways, it was a long day of golf. Challenging and worth the visit if you don't have to keep on the cart path.
Had an absolute blast! Every staff member was amazing and service was top-notch. Highly recommend playing if you’re in or around the San Diego area.
Let’s just start with we had hoped to play Torrey Pines but could not get a tee time. San Diego Golf recommended Aviara Golf Course. OMG it was absolutely amazing. The staff was unbelievable. Phillip at the check in was fabulous and Chris in the bar was phenomenal. Now to the course !! Wow…every hole has an amazing challenge and is a 10 out of 10. I’m just going to say we will be back.
Excellent hotel, Hilton La Jolla, Torrey Pines. Although the hotel is a bit dated, the staff are what makes it fantastic. I played the south course at Torrey Pines and it was tough but very enjoyable. A pity that the greens had just been aerated and there was a lot of sand on them too. The same with the tees.
