Had a great experience at my scripps dental visit. Denise was incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable right away as she took images and pictures of my teeth and also had little conversations here and there to get to know me better which felt nice, and Dr. Labonte was thorough in his dental assessment , gentle, and reassuring and only recommended treatment and filling that were absolutely necessary to keep cost in check . Truly appreciate the care and professionalism from both thank you for making the visit such a positive one!
When I moved from Philadelphia to San Diego almost 30 years ago, I could not find a good dentist. When I was managing a restaurant in Del Mar, I asked a few of my regulars. One of them included Jenny Craig. She referred me to script center for dental along with a retired doctor. I am so very happy they referred me. I’ve been going there ever since which is now 22 years. I used to dread going to the dentist now it’s such a comfortable experience all the dentist or fabulous. I don’t even feel the needle going in when getting the Novacaine I’ve been going to Penny as my dental hygienist for the last 22 years and she is amazing. I highly highly recommend having a consult if you’re looking for a dentist I couldn’t go anywhere else! I referred many people and they all thank me ! The office staff is amazing as well, very accommodating and friendly. I see a lot of posts where people say they don’t like going to certain dentist because of them wanting to upsell. I’ve never had that experience here at Scripps center for dental. I was not even sure what they were referring to..
Scripps Center for Dental Care has been an incredible find. The entire team is warm, professional, and truly patient-focused. From the moment I walk in, Diana at the front desk is welcoming and on top of everything. She always does her best to help with scheduling and has gone out of her way more than once to squeeze me into a busy day. On a recent visit, I had a cracked tooth that needed attention quickly. Both Christie and Diana worked together to get me in as soon as possible, which I really appreciated. Dr. Westin repaired the chipped tooth beautifully. It looks completely natural and feels perfect. The whole experience was calm, efficient, and reassuring. Danielle is an outstanding hygienist. She is very thorough and detail-oriented but still gentle and kind. She explains what she is seeing, offers practical tips I can actually stick with, and genuinely cares about long-term dental health, not just the cleaning in front of her. I also cannot say enough about Dr. Nick. He is genuinely the best dentist I have ever had. He takes his time, explains options clearly, and always goes above and beyond to make sure I am getting the best care possible. You can tell he is committed to excellent work and to his patients’ comfort. Thank you to Dr. Nick, Dr. Westin, Danielle, Diana, Christie, and the whole team at Scripps Center for Dental Care. I feel very lucky to be a patient here and recommend them without hesitation.
Awesome experiences every time. Dr Nick, Dr Westin are amazing, gentle, kind, and incredibly passionate about what they do, and their work speaks for itself. Combined with an amazing support staff create an unbelievably cohesive team…Penny and Denise have been nothing short of wonderful. Not to mention Diana and the rest of the front office are a blessing while working with my tight schedule. I cannot say enough about this fantastic office. If you’re lucky enough to get in you’ll see what I mean!
