My grandson loved the aquarium. I loved the beauty of the tanks and the colors of alm the aquatic life. Not sure why but it seemed you could see the colors of the fish, eels etc better. They were so vivid. The guides were very friendly and informative. It probably only will take 30 mins but it was worth it
It was just ok. I know this place was going to be small but not this small. For the price, I found it really expensive and A/C doesn’t work through all the exhibits. Buying the Lego Land Discovery Center combo ticket using Groupon is a must if you want to save some money. I don’t plan on coming back in the future.
Great for smaller children not so great for teens or adults wanting to do something fun. It'll take about 30 minutes to walk through everything. Nothing major just a small aquarium.
Although, "Moray Eels tend to be territorial and stay hidden inside of caves and crevices as often as they can. They are comfortable as long as they can hide inside Of something.", this Eel couldnt hide anywhere in this tiny tank(tiny for his size, being that they grow up to 8 feet). This was so sad to see. (Pictured). Also, one of the tanks were very dirty. (Pictured with one of the rays that can only swim around in circles due to the small tank.) Barely room for most sea creatures to swim, with the tiny sea creatures being an exception. Jellyfish definitely need more room that that as well. Aside that, the air conditioning was very weak. It was very humid and hot throughout. It was cool to experience these creatures close up. But more sad. The gift shop is cool. I was looking for something with an eel but I was out of luck. There was creatures such as dolphins, squid, penguins, etc. even though they weren't there lol I wanted something Eel related to represent the giant Eel. Unfortunately, I made no purchases in there.
I visited with my 9-year-old daughter and 78-year-old mom. Based on other reviews, I had kept my expectations somewhat low, understanding that it's a small location and anticipating it might take about 30 minutes to walk through (which was pretty accurate). As a positive, we had no problems with crowds due to coming on a Thursday afternoon, and my daughter enjoyed the kids' playscape at the end. Unfortunately, we were overall very disappointed with our experience. The first part of the attraction had fully functional A/C, but as we got further in, we noticed it got quite warm/humid. Additionally, there was quite a pungent odor around the sea life areas. (Not sure if these are being cleaned properly?) The lights in some areas went off unexpectedly (possibly related to motion sensors? - not sure), and we waited a bit until they came back on so we could take photos. And other areas were not well lit at all so we ended up with dark photos. This was especially disappointing in the larger of the two underwater tunnel areas. What concerned us aside from that was that the tanks themselves largely appeared very cramped and inadequate for the sea life. The large moray eel, for example, did not have anywhere to actually hide; he could only fit halfway in and halfway out of an underwater pot (which looked sad). (See photo.) As a result, I would not recommend this attraction.
