Mansureh did an amazing job tailoring my wedding dress. I was recommended by a coworker and she met all of my expectations. Her expertise was essential in planning the tailoring of my wedding dress! She always made me feel that my dress was in good hands.
Mansureh did a beautiful job altering and adding a bustle to my dress. She was really knowledgeable and caring and made sure that alternations didn’t impact the lightweight material of the dress. You could barely tell there was a bustle when it was pinned up. She added a bustle, added bra cups, hemmed it and brought it in a bit at the neckline. She took the time to teach a friend and I how to do the bustle to ensure it went smoothly on wedding day. It’s worth noting that she works very fast so there is less pressure to fit into a dress that had been altered early. I would absolutely recommend her bridal alternations to others!
I cannot say enough good things for Mansureh. My dress was difficult to alter - she had to do it fully by hand because of the beads. It was also quite big on me and had to be taken in, and let me tell you it fit like a glove!!! Her expertise and knowledge made this experience so fantastic. She shared what was and wasn’t possible and it made all the difference to have that expertise. I LOVE my dress and it fit so so well.
The owner of the shop did a wonderful job with my dress. When I initially came for the first appointment, she gave me advice on what to do with the dress. She has tons of experience in the fashion industry so I valued her opinions. I ended up going with her recommendations and couldn’t be more thankful that I did! She did a wonderful job. She ended up having to hem the dress by 6 inches and the work she did with the delicate lace was truly remarkable. She also added straps with the extra material. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to work with her. I would definitely recommend this business to other brides and other women needing their clothes altered.
I read the incredible reviews for Seams and Sew On and am thankful that I found Mansureh. She was able to alter my dress from David’s Bridal exactly how I wanted it! She said it would take two weeks so I got it right on time. She fixed it expertly and due to a bad zipper (low cost dress) she even took out the zipper, replaced it with a new one, and added a secure bridal hook and eye and the row of beautiful buttons and hooks! She definitely takes all the care and heart she would have if you were her own daughter. She gave me wonderful European cookies as a treat to celebrate. Not only does she have decades of experience she is able to deliver the best quality! She’s the best! Thank you Mansureh!!
