I’m writing this review to share my recent and very disappointing experience with See Saw Seen. I found this office after researching vision providers who accept VSP Medi-Cal and See Saw Seen came up in multiple searches INCLUDING the vsp medi-cal website. It’s even listed on the Yelp page as accepting Medi-Cal patients. Based on that information, I decided to reach out and schedule an appointment. However, when I called the office, I was told that they do not actually accept Medi-Cal. I was told they stopped taking Medi-cal. I called vsp, Medi-cal and the site to see if there was a mistake and was told, “no you’re good to go there and there is nothing restricting”. This was confusing and frustrating because their advertising and online listings clearly state otherwise. For families who depend on Medi-Cal coverage, accurate information is essential when choosing a provider. It’s incredibly discouraging and heartbreaking to see a practice promote themselves as an option for Medi-Cal patients when that’s not the case. I believe that businesses, especially healthcare providers, have a responsibility to keep their information truthful and up to date. Misleading conversations creates unnecessary stress for families seeking care. I sincerely hope See Saw Seen updates their services and any other listings to reflect their actual insurance policies so that other families don’t have the same disappointing experience. Transparency really matters, especially for families looking for accessible care.
Had a great experience here! Dr. Zeng is meticulous and knowledgeable, she made sure my contacts prescription was comfortable for me. Eric and everyone one else working there is also kind and helpful. Made the process super easy!
Dr. Jenny is amazing!! She is super knowledgeable and thorough, and she makes you feel so heard and at ease. I initially saw her for a routine eye exam but ended up having to come back multiple times for an issue with one of my eyes. She was so helpful every visit and was able to get my issue cleared up within a few weeks. I would see Dr. Jenny for all my healthcare needs if I could!
Came here for my eye exam and it was excellent. Dr Jenny is very thorough, sharp, fantastic at answering questions and explaining everything clearly. Excellent attention to detail! She got my prescription perfect (happy to finally be able to see clearly!) and checked my eyes thoroughly for eye diseases. In addition, she is super personable and helpful. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful as well — so happy I found this place!
Can't believe I haven't reviewed SSS yet! We've been coming here for years, even after we moved to the east bay. We'd make the trek back once a year for our eye checkup. Always a warm and friendly greeting from Eric (and if it's a school holiday, their cute and smart daughter Morgan) when we enter. The place is so cool, like a designer's dream shop. Everything is bright and airy, and so clean and organized. Dr Jenny is extremely professional and she is super thorough! She takes her time and their equipment is all very state of the art and modern. She tests everything and then goes through with us in detail, comparing what's happened with our eyesight, glaucoma, astigmatism etc. since the previous year. Their prices are reasonable and they even mail out our new glasses to us since we live across the bridge. We love them and can't recommend them enough!
