A little tropical forest in SD county. Massive amount of space and connected to the cutest nursery! Great coffee drinks, canned NA options and refrigerated snacks and pastries. Will be back!
Such an amazing experience and a HUGE selection of beverages & baked goods. The DJ is always a highlight on the weekends, they have the best disco ball I have ever seen. There are cute gifts in the shop if a plant isn't enough. I went in for coffee & almost walked out with a whole new garden. There are beautiful & unique plants in the nursery, 1 of the biggest plant/garden stores I have been to. There are plenty of bathrooms throughout. Friendly service, amazing vibes. Coffee, music, plants all under 1 roof.
Matcha was just meh and the pastries were tasteless. They also have pretty high prices and ask for a large tip on the iPad you pay on. Why so popular: Ppl go here just for the atmosphere and it’s very Instagram-able Pro: cool to sit and be in a forest of trees and it’s very well decorated. It is so cute so it’s worth the trip if you wanna just grab a coffee and sit and chat.
Selva Coffee House is a super creative, plant-filled spot that feels more like a little jungle escape than a typical cafe, thanks to its location inside Terra Bella Nursery. The vibe is busy but relaxed, and it’s the kind of place you don’t mind hanging around in while your drink is being made. The DejaVu matcha leans coconutty and indulgent without being cloying, so you still taste the matcha even with the flavor add-ins. Cotton-Headed Ninny Muggins is more of a festive dessert coffee—with peppermint, white mocha, and that marshmallowy topping—but still delivers enough espresso to feel like a real coffee, not just a sugar bomb. Overall, it’s on the pricier side, but between the inventive drinks, friendly staff, and the jungle-like nursery setting, it feels like you’re paying for an experience as much as the coffee.
I had such a great experience here thanks to Alejandro! He was super friendly and patient and helped me find exactly the type of plant I was looking for. He took the time to explain care details clearly and answered all of my questions without rushing me. The nursery itself completely exceeded my expectations. The photos and reviews really do not do it justice. The coffee is really good, the baristas are super friendly, and everything from plants to extras like incense is very accessible. Honestly, 10 out of 10 customer service and one of the best experiences I have had at a nursery. Definitely ask for Alejandro if you visit!
